My personal experience is that it depends on the size of a wingsuit. I decided to go longer because I was consistenly having issues with hesitation, to the point that I had been reaching for my handles. I remember jumping an intro when I was getting started with a 6' / 24" and had no issues at all. I've jumped with a friend who is smaller than me and flying a raptor or r-bird and he rarely has any PC hesitation with a 6' bridle. I spoke with the guys at chutingstar.com and told them exactly what I was jumping and they reccomended a 24"" PC with a 9' bridle.

I just purchased a used Reflex container with a Triathlon 160 / DashM-150. Unfortunately the rig is too small. It was made for someone who was 5'7 and I am 5'11 with a longer torso. I jumped the rig, but I wasn't comfortable in it and I wasn't able to tighten the leg straps as much as I would like because it pulled down too much on my shoulders. There are two pieces of webbing that run in between the hip rings and the rings on the main shoulder straps and I'm wondering if those could be replaced to help the rig fit me better. From my understanding the company who made these rigs is out of business so I'm wondering who would be the best person to do this modification. The rig / canopies have less than 50 jumps and I'm happy with everything else so I would like to try to make it work. Otherwise I'll probably just sell everything and try again. Well as far as jump logging, everything that could go wrong did for me. My Altitrack is in Denmark getting fixed so I was using a crappy analog loaner. I realized about 10,000 ft that I left my memory card for the GoPro in my computer, and when I got to the ground and hit "stop" on my Garmin 305 it said "Timer Started" :-O

Hah - yeah, a few of us including Grey Mike did the high altitude jump yesterday. It was fun to try something new, but my arms were giving out towards the end.

I've been stalking the boards here for a while with no posts. I have been jumping for a little over a year and a half and I've spent most of my last 100 jumps wingsuiting at Skydive Palakta. I have a Tonysuit Raptor that I just bought and was flying a friend's Raptor before that. Anyways - I just signed up for the high altitude load this Sunday at Zhills and was wondering if anyone else is planning on doing a wingsuit jump. I think they are breifing around 8am on Sunday.
