Dear Michele, My response is to one person if I was making it about a group be sure I would make that distinction quite clear.When one person who happens to be from a group makes a statement I do not attribute that statement to the whole group. Actually my responses have been tounge in cheek, because there is no way I can take the start of this thread as an attempt at dialouge so I can't take it seriously our I will get pissed. As far as my perspective I gave that in another thread and was told in everyway but......that I was lying and/or whining by funks..... so I already know what he thinks of my perspective. At no point did anyone ask for my perspective or to elaborate on anything I said so I didn't. Again just because someone is in a group does not mean I'm aiming a reply at that group, I'd like to think I'm smarter then that. Thats how both parties/ideologies are but, I guess it's easier to say that then look for better reasons. I have to say that I find this post highly amusing since my family was on TV when my grandfather was sworn in as the first black county commisioner in a county with a major city. I also remember it was well noted at the time that he was the first minority to second the nomination for a president. From where I was sitting it was quite a big deal in a positive way. Before I read all the posts I'll say that when I went to school. We had a class called Social Studies in it we learned about all kinds of creation "theories" from Egyptian to Norse . We never learned about the Christian "theory" because there was a place to learn that, it was called church and if your parents wanted you to learn about Christian creationisim you could go there and learn it all you wanted. Thats the way it was and the way it should be. Edit to add I was taught about the "Theory of evolution". I didn't know they had changed it to Darwins law of evolution.
