  1. 1400 is far from genius level. You typically need 1520 to be considered for admission to MIT, for example. And even then, those tests are very poor predictors of ability to solve novel problems or create new ideas. "Demonstrated ability" only works if your circumstances are such that you have had the opportunity to demonstrate.
  2. Would you lend your friend your airplane without first checking that she is legal to fly it?
  3. Is that all? You get 400 if you get everything wrong.

    So Long

I'll miss most of you. It's been good.
  6. Not fair that you can close a thread to ensure that you have the last word.
  7. Isn't this the same guy that was whining a couple of days ago about requiring professionals in training to improve their communications skills?
  8. The United States has more than 20,000 gun laws at the local, state, and federal levels. I reckon about 19,900 of them are duplicative, contradictory or just superfluous. Maybe more.
  9. No argument here. Even Isaac Newton had an irrational belief in an invisible Jewish zombie. If there were any actual objective evidence, it wouldn't be called "faith".
  10. It's classic troll behavior. I'm surprised you are playing his game.
  11. That may be your interpretation. However, those capable of critical thinking want BETTER gun laws. We already have too many.
  12. Why should anyone discuss the views of a lying troll?
  13. The Discovery Institute is an evangelical protestant think tank that promotes the pseudoscientific concept of intelligent (sic) design (aka "junk science"). It has nothing whatever to do with Cambridge University.
