    Since it looks like the temperatures will stay into the 60s, I was thinking of hanging up my rig for the weekend and get back to some pre-skydiving activities. (I'm paraphrasing my FB status.) So far, everything I could come up with (that I used to do on weekends before gettting divorced and starting skydiving) sounds so mighty BORING!!! Shopping ... home decorating ... hair salon ... socializing ... showing off new something to my friends ... clubbing and bar hopping ... watching brainless TV - it all sounds so blah to me ... OK ... maybe I'll put an extra layer under my jumpsuit and get my "candy ass" (as some people called me because I don't jump in the cold) up in the air; jumps are followed by socializing with some awesome dz peeps. (Yes, I'm an wussy when it comes to wind and cold ). O

    I have feeling this is going to be moved ... No, it’s not just you!!! Since USA is my adoptive country and the quality of my life has improved hundred-fold since I moved here 15 years ago, I feel like I’m somehow “ungrateful” if I voice my disapproval with where things seem to be heading. This is not to say I’m not bothered by the new levels of “low-ness” our society seems to achieve every day. Just this morning Yahoo News read that “Snookie” is getting big money for appearing at an event. Really? Is that the message we want to give young adults? That being a sluty-trashy-bimbo is the way to get ahead in the world? O

    Definitely packing error ... and I got nobody to blame, but myself. I packed it in the office before my flight ... I got intrerupted and walked away a few times - not good and lesson learned. After sitting on the ground for a couple of hours, I went up again - on deployment, I've put my chin down and held the chin cup on my helmet with my hands - I have a feeling I'll be doing that for a while ... O

    :3:4 1st jump at Skydive The Point 1st "instant canopy" (a opening so hard, I'm still seeing stars) 1st DPH jump 1st jump from a King Air Crazy dz.com people (k-dubs, bolas, blacklabjumper) convinced me to head down to West Point, VA for the weekend - I'm glad they did. Since I had a opening so hard it almost knocked me out on the first jump and rain on Sunday, I didn't get a lot of jumps ... but it doesn't matter. Great times was had by all ... O

    Up early ... adrenaline from my last jump (sunset load last evening) kept me up all night - I kept dreaming of landing out ... on a golf course ... in the middle of a game ... wearing only lingerie ... Oh wait ... that wasn't a dream ... it really happened - I just kept re-living it every time I fell asleep ... I'll need my coffee today - thinking of heading to the office early and try to have a productive day. O

    :4:3 Earl turned out to be just a hype, but it did put a kink on the weekend jumping plans - both Saturday and Sunday were waaaay to windy for my personal limits. Finally got to do some jumps yesterday ... and finally make it to my 300th. One 12-way belly (I went low ), two freefly and one insane 8-way "shitfly" lingerie jump on the sunset load for my 300th. Beer owed for 1st lingerie jump, 1st bare foot jump ... and my 300th. O
