    There's a lot of really good reasons to use an 'old school' paper map. As I travel across the country, there's a Rand McNally Motor Carrier's Road Atlas on my dash. I don't use it as much as I used to, but there are still times it's a better and easier choice than the GPS maps (truck computer, old hand held Garmin and Google on my phone.

    One of the reasons he wasn't a very good President was because he was such a good man. He didn't seem to grasp how evil some people could be. His work worldwide with election monitoring, and here in the US with Habitat for Humanity were both excellent examples (and not the only ones) of his genuine goodness. He was a much better 'former President' than actual President.

    They're starting to eat each other. The "MAGA Faithful" are slowly realizing that Musk bought & paid for Trumpty Dumpty and is now expecting a 'return on investment'. The MAGA Morons are realizing what Musk wants, and how different it is from what they want. Musk (you know, that champion of "free speech" on Xitter) is censoring a wide variety of people, Laura Loomer among them. It's going to be rather amusing watching them destroy the MAGA movement from within.

After giving a TED talk, she got the 'now go make me a sammich' response. So she made one... At the South Pole (well, within a km or so). And invited all the trolls to come and get it.

    Kinda got the order a bit wrong. Sun and moon after earth, seas and vegetation. Not too bad for bronze age folk tales, myths and legends. But scientifically accurate? Not so much. That's one reason I give a whole lot of credence to "The Goat Herder's Guide to the Galaxy."

Despots usually end up fearing everyone. I think Trumpty Dumpty, along with Elmo and the rest are FAAAAAAAAR more likely to try to take all the guns away than Obama, Biden and Harris put together. But he won't believe it.

    It's abundantly clear that the GOP & MAGA have no concerns about what their candidates have actually done. They only care about what they can and will do when in office. Their nominees for various positions are exactly the same. You know, like for the Supreme Court.
