  2. russouw is working for aerodyne now, but i'm not sure weather or not he's jumping one of there canopies. i doubt it, i'd bet he's under his velo, but i could be wrong, i have been before later
  3. 2.5, wow, that seams kind of high for what everyone else is jumping. that is impressive. later
  4. ok, i wasn't sure on weather it was 5 ft gates or not, but i think your right on if it's more than 5 mph they it won't count. canopy size, and wing loading for that matter. later
  5. so what size gates was it on??? how much wind??? later
  6. hell yea, paulie rocks. i didn't get a chance to jump with him, but did hang out a bit during the day memorial day weekend, cool dude, and i guess a rearlly good freeflier later

  9. that seams a little weird to me, if you can't trust yourself to save yourself, how can you expect to save someone else?? i don't know, that's just my opinion on it though. later
  10. i've jumped the rage, and it's not up to par with xbraced canopies. it's right in the range of xfire, katana. later
  11. velo 96 because a bigger vx won't fit in my container too well later
  12. i got a kick ass deal on a brand new heatwave with custom logo's on the bottom, and my name on the side of the canopy for 400 dollars. i've had 3 wings harness/containers that have all been half off. my vx that i had was half off. my old fx was 40% off. later
  13. the coolest thing that ever happened to me like this was when my dad still had our dz (he also was the FBO for the airport). so one day this jet flys in to connersville because the weather of indianapolis was bad, the people in the jet really needed to get to some meeting but there were 7 of them on the jet, one of the jumpers at the dz said they could rent his car and just bring it back with a full tank of gas, so 5 of them jump in the car and go, the 2 "big shots" (it seamed like anyway) decided to stay back and wait for them to come back........well the weather cleared over indianapolis, and the pilots decided they could get in now, but now the car would be stuck at the airport, so the 2 "big shots" decide that john could go and take one person with him, luckly i was standing right there, so i volunteered myself to go
  14. the way this guy approached you was totally wrong, but what exactly happened?? i agree with dave, sit down with him, buy him a beer and ask what you did, and how you might be able to fix it next time. later
  15. i go for quality for sure. in my opinion the best thing you can do to keep this is set goals for the summer. nothing too high but set some goal and try to reach it. that's what i do anyway. later
  16. well do you have a protrack?? this is my log book and most dz's are ok with that. also they can look up your license on uspa.org if they are a uspa dz. you could also find a coach to go make a freefly with and have them check you as ok and if all else fails just give them a sad face and tell them you really want to make a jump. later
  17. fly your body not your suit just remember your suit only makes you look good, i doesn't make you fly any better later
