I thought about buying this poster on EBAY, but found 3 lobby cards for less than $20 including shipping and just bought them. I am going to frame them and hang them in my wreck room. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/The-GYPSY-MOTHS-Burt-LANCASTER-Deborah-KERR-Gene-HACKMAN-3-FOH-stills-/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/z/DOgAAOxy2YtRsm-3/$(KGrHqF,!okFGo8bLzycBRsm-3MOeg~~60_1.JPG For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

You are more likely to get attacked by derailing the derailed thread. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

I don't really feel sorry for the doctors, but they were probably shown the search warrant before they went butthole fishing. It is kind of poetic justice if they get in trouble for not reading the fine print to determine it was for the wrong county or expired. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

I was feeling guilty because my original response was neither, and everyone else seemed to rally around a hurt human being. Nobody knew we were being punked. Some responded more nobly, and are arguably better people. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

In hindsight, my post was not very compassionate. What I read was he made a difficult decision, which is good. Agonizing over it , maybe not so much. Many people with more compassion than I have offered him similar advise to accept his own decision and move on. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

Skydiving eyewear - sunglasses or goggles?
DiverMike replied to GAjumper84's topic in Gear and Rigging
i guess it is personal preference. I like a tight fitting helmet. YMMV For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board. -
Not sure I understand, but my favorite skydiving expressions is "suck it up cupcake"(SIUC). It means stop feeling sorry for yourself. I think it comes from the culture of seeing beautiful, vibrant people die while sheeple complain about no longer having a girlfriend, or a car, or the latest iphone. Speaking as one of the anonymous people to whom you posted, I don't feel sorry for you., but then again I don't know you. If people who know you (your friends) don't understand, why would a bunch of strangers? If you truly are so so so sad, seek professional help. Except when it comes to a defined benefit pension (which is becoming a rare benefit). If I could leave the survivor benefit to anyone, it would make sense to leave it to a 1 year old, so they can collect retirement benefits for the next 70+ years. I would be very surprised if any DZ would make you wear clear goggles if you have a medical condition. As other people have stated, talk to the right people at the DZ (Instructor, DZO) about your condition. I am almost sure they would accommodate you. Skydiving eyewear - sunglasses or goggles?
DiverMike replied to GAjumper84's topic in Gear and Rigging
I also use the brand "Liquid Eyewear" because of their design. Normal sunglasses that wrap around your ear can be uncomfortable when wearing a helmet. Your ear can get smashed between the eyeglass stem and helmet. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board. -
Way to ruin the thread drift by bringing back on topic. The drift was infinitely more interesting than the original topic. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

At one of my houses, every time I have gone there to fix something the tenant has called about, she opens the door wearing nothing but a towel. She either takes a lot of showers, or wants something off the rent. I am pretty sure she would go 'Fatal Attraction' on me , or she is bat-shit crazy. I wouldn't risk either scenario. Then absolutely go for it. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

I have a few local houses and a 7 bedroom vacation rental house in the Outer Banks. If you enjoy do-it-yourself projects it makes good financial sense. If you don't have the skills to fix minor electric, plumbing, drywall, roofing problems - your profit might disappear. You do have the advantage of knowing skydivers. Every DZ I have been to has skilled drywallers, roofers, plumbers, and electricians who would do the work and give you the friend/family rate. I must chime in as an IT professional. One million dollars is no where near enough to handle even the data integration and testing. The fact that you won't name your source or his company clearly shows to me you deep down understand he is wrong. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

You answered your own question: If you could quote a source that says they are required to always put the major organs back, you might have a conspiracy. Or maybe dig up 1000 corpses and determine which percentage have their organs stored in the body cavity. Anybody an ME out there? I just don't see a huge conspiracy. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

sorry - our posts crossed in cyberspace. I don't know the exact percentage (nor do I really want to), but it is not unusual for the organs to not be entirely replaced in the body after autopsy. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

What sounds fishy? Stuffing newspaper in the body cavity so the corpse looks more lifelike? For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

I think the first comment sums it up quite nicely: For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

I disagree. It is a failure of the government for choosing the companies that don't deliver. Hell - I outsource contracts all the time and if I pick the wrong vendor and the project does not come in on time and budget, the Board of Directors blames me and not the vendor. In this analogy, the taxpayers are the Board of Directors. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

I guess I am more obnoxious than I give myself credit for. It says I belong in New York. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
