  1. I really love the personal challenge of the ground racing up at 1000 feet per second, locking into core focus and concentrating at the task at hand. It was a challenge the first time when I jumped. The tandem master was teasing us first timers about the 12000 feet jump into freefall, and I kinda sunk down beneath the planes' windows. But I just taped into the mindset of "what goes up, must come down."And now I have to admit, I am sure hooked! (-: ?: Can you finish your training throughout the U.S. or do you have to stick to one school till you have your license?Quote
  2. I just have to say that although I am afraid of planes, heights and roller coasters, I dug skydiving. The first jump, was, well, SCARY! But once I got on the ground I couldn't wait to go back up so I signed up on the spot for a second tandem. I passed, ready for the solo jump after a class. Just wondering how scary it is to throw yourself out of a place without the help of an instructor... Any opinions? I figure once I do that I am ready for BASE jumping off the Sears Tower. Jumped Skydive Chicago w/ Bill. I recommend him for first timers, really nice guy!
