Just take it with you, I don`t think you`ll get in trouble. I had my rig plus my normal backpack with me - that`s not allowed, too. Nobody will weigh your luggage, so it shouldn`t be a problem at all. Kat #1094

I have one for ya: 900km of driving in 10 hours, 5 different objects and no chance for one freakin` jump. "Can you see the bridge up there?" "No, but I can touch a bridge pier right here, so it should be there." My brother and his girlfriend were watching the "lord of the rings"-trilogy at home. I thought it is absolutely stupid to stay up all night for watching this, but now I think it is even more stupid to drive through Germany hours and hours for NO jump. Merry Christmas. :) #1094

Had absolutely no problems taking my base-rig with me - neither at O`Hare, nor Detroit Metro last month. In Chicago they just wanted to check my backpack (forgot to put the laptop and the cables out of the it) They have their rules and stuff, but the most important thing is always your luck. The easiest way is, to say “MY friend" (of course, use the female or the male version in German) when you talk about your boy or girlfriend and you say “A friend” if it is just a friend. #1094

I try to figure out the differences between "Dates" in the US and, for example, Germany or other countries. US: Everything is a date - going out for lunch/dinner with a friend, colleague, ... - going to a movie, ... (am I right?!) Germany: Going out with somebody you really really like and this person likes you as well. It could be you boy- or girlfriend, but this isn`t an requirement. What do you think? Kat #1094
