Does anybody have something like a power-point-presentation on his/her computer about skydiving (training, disciplines, …)? I need one for a group of whuffos and I`m to lazy to do it and I have no time, of course. Thanks for helping.

btw, during the last few hours I had about 10 networks on my list and 3 were/are unprotected. The signals are all not very good, but it`s enough for me. #1094

Hiho [yell]"Pack-Check[/yell] Uh oh - my parachute. Nope, that was absolutely no problem (the girl behind me wanted to sit in the plane next to me). I forgot to put my laptop out of my backpack - yes, tell me I`m stupid. :-) I finally arrived after a rainy flight in Detroit - the pilot was pathetic. cya Kat #1094

What do you think? Is it one or not? Just think about that, because of my flight on saturday. I wear it around my neck quite often, but I usually have it in my check-in luggage for flights. Do you think the security guys would keep it? A pen, ..., could also be used as a weapon ... (anyone seen the movie "red eye" ) Kat #1094

Thanks everybody - I feel better now. The bigger problem will be the flight back home with a german airline - you`re allowed to have ONE carry-on. But I`ll try to be nice and friendly. :) #1094

Hi I`ll fly from Chicago to Detroit this weekend. United Airlines says: Carry-on baggage information For travel worldwide on United, you may carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, or laptop computer. * A carry-on bag must fit under your seat or in the overhead bin. * Carry-on bag dimensions should not be more than 9" x 14" x 22" (length + width + height) or 45 linear inches (the length, height and width added together). My two suitcases are full and I have to take my baserig with me, otherwise I have to pay 80 bucks (for checkin` in a third suitcase). It is bigger than the given sizes, but, hey, every normal backpack is bigger than that. Then I have my laptop, too, in my backpack. What do you think. Am I allowed to take both - rig and backpack - with me? Any suggestions to handle it another way? Thanks Kat #1094

I need several presents for persons I stayed with the last two months - you know, I`m this german girl in Iowa and I`ll leave next saturday. 1. a 19 year old girl (no special interests or hobbies) 2. her dad (I thought about nice wine glasses - he only has such little ugly ones, but he`s dating a nice gal and she loves wine) 3. a married couple (they`re farmers and drink a lot of beer, but this would be too unimaginative) Ok, any serious ideas?
