Pulse 170 will pack about the same size as the SP150 Dream my life, live my dream

One of my flight instructors mentioned that a low wing aircraft with landing gear on the wings, will receive much more stress than say a high wing aircraft with gear on the fuselage (ex 172). I've been flying a Piper Cherokee for most of my PPL training flights, but also have some time in a 152 trainer as well. Still sad to see. A few years back I lost a student pilot friend in Ohio as well. Dream my life, live my dream

S fire or Sabre 2 or Stiletto and why
sffudapparel replied to Hunterbeav's topic in Gear and Rigging
Sabre2 is known for its great flare. I also really love flying my Sabre2s and usually had good openings. Bad openings usually occurred as the Microline would go out of trim signaling the need for a new lineset but now with HMA lines on the Sabre2 as standard, the Sabre2 would be my choice. iFly coming to San Diego (3 tunnels planned)
sffudapparel replied to PhreeZone's topic in Wind Tunnels
The latest I heard was Buzz is looking at a Summer opening. His building will have 2x 14" tunnels that is all an independent design - Not iFLY, ISG, Aerodium, etc. Dream my life, live my dream -
If anyone has questions on the Ontario tunnel, I would be happy to answer. Our presale bulk account are on sale through Jan 15th if you'd like to take advantage of the cheaper rates before we open. So stoked to bring this beautiful tunnel to SoCal :) Can't wait to fly it! Dream my life, live my dream

Hit up Lane Paquin, he's a badass skydiver, tunnel instructor, and coach. He's on FB under Lane Vaughn or PM me for his number and email. Learning in Orlando has it's challenges - I learned there and worked there for almost 2 years. It depends on what you want to learn - if you're looking to fly any type of dynamic, you're going to pay money to go to a fast tunnel, only to have then turn the wind down on you anyway. Learning to fly things in slow wind has big benefits down the line - especially if you focus on flying dynamic and transitions! (can't stress transitions enough). Ultimately, it comes down to: Do you want to be a good flyer or are you using tunnel to become a better skydiver? Dream my life, live my dream

Changes: Looks like we will have a Caribou this year, replacing the 2 CASAs. Jumped this one earlier this year, wicked cool. Also, we'll be doing high altitude jumps all weekend for those who are interested. PJ Jackson will be here organizing some siiick freefly jumps It looks like the Film Festival date will be changed from Saturday to either Friday or Sunday as to not interfere with fireworks and pyro jump. Will keep you all informed, get your videos ready! Only 3 more weeks! Dream my life, live my dream

Startskydiving Middletown Ohio., Taking pics
sffudapparel replied to michaelknote's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yes, as Phreezone said, we have to treat everyone the same. That means, everyone stands behind the line, regardless. Many times we have tandem students bringing out family members, and when you do 100+ tandems a day like we do, that can easily add up to 500+ spectators throughout the day. To make sure everyone stays safe, all staff knows to enforce everyone to stay behind the lines at all times. Also, yes our campers may restrict some view of the landing area, but the fenced in spectator viewing area actually sticks out PAST the campers (on the far side of the loading area) and provides the best view IMO. Yes, you might not get to see your friend/relative land, but there's also no promise that they're going to land up front near the hangers. We have a huuuge landing area, and it's our instructors job to land the students in a clear and open area, even if that means not in the main tandem landing area. This happens every weekend. I'm sorry you left with a less than 100% experience, next time you come back, make a jump with us. There's nothing obstruction the view of the landing area from above :) Dream my life, live my dream -
