Been jumping here since late last year. recently got taken over by these two crazy doods and they've turned it around 10 fold. now offering AFF and static line where it wasn't offered before and the place has some kewl events already planned for the year. night jumps, canopy courses, air showes and demo's... there's heaps in the pipeline! There's a huge shop in there as well now with all the clothing and gear you can ever want. There's something for all experiences, and these guys know how to have fun! This place is going to be huge!

ok i only have 1 jump so i definately don't know what i am talking about. But given that the boys docked on the weekend, at I think they said a vertical 35mph, and a horizontal 60-70mph, it would be more than reasonable to say that there is a chance you could maybe land one on your back in a lake, you would end up skimming across the water, it would hurt like crazy but!! I used to go behind a slingshot bungie on a friends boat, the boat would do 90mph, and the slingshot would travel even faster.... If you fell off that you just roll on your back and it is suprisingly safe. Add a 35mph vertical force to that and it may be a whole lot different, all i'm saying is that i'd probably try it on a lake before anywhere else. fatz

so it's more the fact that a container may restrict your movment rather than the container may come to halm?

Hiya all. OK, I only have 1 jump - sad i know, but I am just trying to get my finances sorted out so i can take it up full time. Just sold my car 8-) (Holden VX V8 SS Commodore) and am waiting for the next few pay checks. Anyway, back to my question. I am not 0 on all the types of flying you can do, but how does the type of flying you do decide on the type of canopy you fly? if you free fly as apposed to belly fly (I think that's what you call it) with a particular chute, will it not open, will it be rough? why is this? sry if it's a stupid question, just curiouse to know. Fatz.

here i go again ! whats a pro-track? is this like a speedo 8-)?

Don't know what it's like everywhere else, but it's only $25 a jump if you have your license..... + equipment.... but you would get all the equipment once you get your license if you are serious right?
-
you obviously couldn't do 25 jumps in 1 week?
-
On a new note - not that i don't like the idea of skyraces. How long did it take most of you to get your second stage of license that allows you to jump anywhere? I CAN'T WAIT

so the bigger your gut, the slower you fall.... shit...i'm hitting the gym this weekend... (I thought swooping was at the ground level when you flare and skim the ground for a few hundred meters......)
-
I was under the impression weight doesn't matter, only how streamline you can make yourself......
-
whats size and weight got to do with beeing a swooper (assuming i know what a swooper is)
-
you fall better when your wet ?
-
i'm 22 and I weigh 90kg...... Does this mean i can go faster !
-
just making sure your down with the lingo !
-
Something tells me that the speed of your metabolism is directly relative to your drop speed......(i'm sure there is some lingo that better fits 'drop speed') like to title says "I'm a newbie"
