I just did my second solo, after completing the AFF course. The first one was a bit of a shock out the door for me, but by the time I'd finished the hill I was fine. My second was amazing. I'll feel a lot better about starting SDU training knowing I can keep control of myself without assistance. Even without an instructor present there were people giving me direction the whole time. Obviously your instructors had enough faith in you to clear you for solos, and so should you. How's that go again..."Shut-up and jump"!

I certainly hope we do meet up. Perhaps we can even ride together from time-to-time. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks! Chris

My wife would love to jump but, sadly, she has a bad back that prevents her from doing so. She does come with me from time-to-time though.

Started on Father's day. My wife bought my first skydive (AFF all the way!) a year earlier. I had this coupon until a week before it expired. I went to SkyDive Dallas and took the first jump course, and then got winded out! Went back a week later, did my first one, and ran back to the hanger to buy another! I've been hooked ever since. I've jumped 12 times now. I'm currently jumping a couple of solos to get through the winter before I start SDU training in March maybe? It's not the cost of the jumps, but the BEER that can break the bank! Anyway, a guy at my DZ hooked me up with this site saying "I looked like a guy who needs another addiction", so here I am.
