the camera I have is a hybrid? (records to dvd or memory stick). Monkey... advised that the disk would hit the "head" in a dvd camcorder, "bye bye camera". would the camcorder be ok If I left the disk out and recorded to the stick.

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone new how the sony dcr-dvd610 shot freefall. Any information on the Sony dvd610 or anything about how (dvd) camcorders do in freefall would be greatly appriciated.
