She was really good in just married, and will be missed, the only question I have is if it's true that her husband didn't want an autopsy preformed? Maybe he sould have a blood and Pee test done,if anything to exclude any recreational pharacuidicals. Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference

What is this Tuaca that everyone tallks about?
MikeRMontagne replied to fossg's topic in The Bonfire
Thanks for the recomendation, but no equipment malfuctions here, but it ( Tuaca ) is a bit too sweet for my liking, diabeates in a bottle. Definately a Lady's sipping ( from a brandy snifter) drink. It's the "drink" half of dinner and drinks and I guess one dose get a "jump" of sorts, so $30 is a reasonable expense. Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. Its an Italian, brady based, vanilla liqueur, and here it goes for $30. a bottle. Pretty expensive panty remover, but it dose work! Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference -
Thanks for the advice ,and as tempting as this may seem, the old axiom "buyer be ware" is foremost in my mind. Only three weeks ago here at this D.Z. an experienced skydiver crashed in shattering his femer. I went to see him in the hospital, the food alone would have finished me off! No most assuredly, while the rig looks in great shape I don't. want to be a test dummy Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference

Thank-you for the reply, This Jonathan I'm asking about is a friend A&P (here, refered to as A.M.E- aircraft maintenance engineer) That took this rig in lieu of work done for a fellow, then the guy passes on unexpectidly, that was almost 15 year's ago.Yeh,it's been sitting in the back of a hangar that long. Last year my friend learned I'd taken up skydiving and asked if I might be interested in the rig.The Vector contain looks in very good condition! So I showed it to the local member's and the consensus was 1rst it still has a leg-pull sys.,the Cypress is long dead, and the reserve is a PD126, which I'm told is too small. This rig, has stuck in my thought's so I arranged to open the container up, and find out what condition the main was in, and other than the surgical tube rubber stays being dried-up the main looks almost new. The "Zero-P" is still crisp and save for two very well done patches ( during manufacturing?) one can only guess this had little use.The lines are clean and feel smooth like new lines do. It'd be a shame if this ended up as a wind sock or wall hanging, so thats why I'm hoping to learn more about the Jonathan canopies. Thanks & Blue Sky's Mike Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. Hello, I'm curious to find out further information on Jonathan main canopies, what ever is out there, history,testimoinals- good/ bad. Also details regarding the the elastic band mod from main to slider. Am I wrong that this was intentionaly to cause a slider hang-up? Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. Hi there, the heading of your comment starts off questioning the cost of our Canadian Health Care system, but instead attacks the British Syst, with stuff of urban ledgends. We north of the boarder to watch all the U.S.programs, like 20/20, 60minutes(my favorite), but in some cases, come on.Flipping bed sheets? There's embelishing, like the recent story of the lady scientist who was rescued, from the Antartic, and recently died. The real unsung Heroes were a Twin Otter crew, from Bradley Air Services,Yellow Knife North West Territories, Canada, they flew her out, not the U.S.Navy. All media are guilty of sound biting, with out throughly checking their facts, if anything, just for expiendiency.Canada's system isn't perfect but, I know they try their best! We've learned, and it's been sad enough times don't believe everthing you read, see or hear in the media. Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference

That beer called the "beast" 16.4%, as soon as can get to a L.D.B. (liqour Distribution Branch) I'll inquire, they're pretty got about bringing in new beer's. The system seem archaic, but LDB staff are very open minded, hey they've even brought in an Indian beer. This after I tried one at an East Indian restraunt that I thought was a great beer. OLY, Olympia Beer from Olympia ,Washington State- was the "in beer" circa1974 up here in the Pacific N.W.. That before A/B bought it out and turned it into the what-ever it is they felt like. OLY had it's own unique flavor, and even A/Bs Canadian Subsidiary tried to "revive" But it came out tasting like all Canadian beers do. Yeah our beer may boast a higher alcohol content B.F.D.!, if you can't tell one beer from Brewery to another across the country, stick with Bourbon (something else lost on Canadian's- love Ur bourbon, Rye, "gag") But U.S. beers all seem to had their own distinctive flavour, and so what if I have to drink more to get a buzz, more time to socialize! No not too old, this last May I was grounded over a reserve "incident" , but I went on and did what was asked to continue with training. I even went and did two more graduated free fall jumps, off radio, which is small potatoes,in amongst all these much more, dedicated & "seasoned" sky divers. Right now the only things holding me back from more sky diving is that I'm between positions and whether or not I should raid my R.S.P. to complete my training. Friend, (if I may) you,as we all have ,this need now for vertical speed , so feed the need!Mike Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference

Bone Marrow Donation List Free til the 22nd
MikeRMontagne replied to peregrinerose's topic in The Bonfire
Hello,I've been a member Canadian Blood Services, Unrelated Bone Marrow Registry since 1990. Twice I've been contacted when there was a possibility, I might be a match, the last time was when D.N.A. matching had just been instituted. So, in the future, should someone be in need. There won't be any doubt whether there's a match. Addtitionaly, I just gave my 52nd blood donation, which I've been doing since 1975,so figure it out, approximately 8 pints/ person.Mike.Montagne Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. Question, can sky divers take their rigs on as" carry- on" litteraly. Air france, breaks-up in mid air, could've someone deployed even if they could freefall ( along with all the falling debis & , well other's) to say abou 15000? Food for thought Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference -

Hello Don, sorrry to read about the problems your having getting on loads that you've manefested for. I can relate some what from similar experiences last year( and beging this season ) .and how it can affect the out come of a jump.We get ready for a jump, then there's a change and then during the delay, apprehension builds, this clouds the thought proccess's. Then when we do get to jump, it goes awry, and end-up failing that level, we think (use your own expletive) ****! I just blew $100. or more and have to re-do that level. I don't understand "the finger, did the instructor have to pull-out the pilot? Be Brave, embrace the fear, even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference
