After asking a question regarding getting a full face helmet, I chose to get a FreeZR II (MK2), and I got it today from Paragear.
I had to overcome 4 obstacles before getting this helmet though.
I had to worry about my 24" head, bulging temple, wearing a pair of glasses, and putting in an audible on top of that.
Well, first I was given an XXL, and it had a lot of room left despite my 24" wierdly shaped head plus glasses. Then I tried XL, and it fit perfectly. Although it was tighter to put on a pair of glasses after putting on the helmet, I still can wear it after donning the helmet and feel comfortable. I needed to wiggle my glasses a bit though on an XL.
Regarding an audible, it had two pockets, and at first both XL and XXL seemed to crush my chin when I tried them at the store. Then I came home, tried it again, and I don't even feel it. So the most of the problems solved.
Here comes the question part.
The visor on FreeZR II seemed to be too flexible and it is likely to flip up accidentally on a freefall, just like other guys have witnessed. The round tipped pegs to hold the visor are too short and the visor itself is too flexible.
I was thinking either lengthening the pegs like one other member tried on his FreeZR II, or tightening the screws where the visor pivots.
I was also thinking, make the visor more stiff by putting somekind of reinforcing tapes or vinyl stuff at the edges of the visor.
What do you think? do you think this is ok?
Thank you.
