Anyone know how to rescend a Regional Director?
WFFC replied to mikieB's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You may want to be careful how you play this out. The actions of one can definitely mislead the masses. The investigation into the alleged incidents at your DZ and the individual you make reference to will yield a decision from USPA and the actions will either be reversed or be made permanent. Make sure you have all your facts though before making your mind up on exactly which way you want to throw your support to. -
Techie Question...calling all you Computer Geeks!!
WFFC replied to RkyMtnHigh's topic in The Bonfire
you know Riddler and I are in FL and all you had to do was call and we'd make a house call... ----- ~~~Michael -
Sent my girlfriends brother a half case of tequila and half case of whiskey...labeled the box as 'Water'. He and his buddies all sent me a thank you card for that one. ----- ~~~Michael

yeah, that popped up on my reminders at midnight. Should have called her then... She's 26 again right? ----- ~~~Michael

Ever ridden up in the Arch in St. Louis? ----- ~~~Michael

(Note to self: Remember to have Riddler pick up some of the good stuff on the way to Marco Island this weekend.) ----- ~~~Michael

Right now, yes... Later today when I get down working? Not at all... ----- ~~~Michael

I heard it too. Velocity Helmets is Skydance Photography I thought, or is there someone else? No, you aren't smoking something funny, I heard it too. ----- ~~~Michael

The pilot and Orlando had a good chat in the big hangar at the WFFC during one of the weather holds. Was interesting to hear the pilot perspective on what happened too. ----- ~~~Michael

Hmmm...interesting...I'll keep that in mind when I'm down here... ----- ~~~Michael

I haven't gotten any yet either, but I did donate their web hosting and some props for the photo shoots. When life settles down a little, I'll pick up a couple tickets. I'm commuting from IL to Tampa right now so I'm a wee bit busy. BTW, nice necklace in your avatar. ----- ~~~Michael
-
That's OK, you'll make up for it at home since you now have a cable modem there... ----- ~~~Michael

That'd require driving about 60 miles round trip. Right now I can just about afford the gas to get myself to and from work until next payday... PM me your address and I'll send you $20 for gas to make the trip. Just don't sell my hammer for crack - I still want it back. ----- ~~~Michael
-
if you're interested in figuring out your gas mileage on your car, send me a PM and I'll send you a spreadsheet I use to keep track of my truck stuff with...Anally, I know it costs $0.69-$0.71 per mile to drive my truck (figuring in gas, plates, insurance, maintenance, etc.)... ----- ~~~Michael

I just saw 2 of the hottest skydivers on the WFFC site!
WFFC replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
She just keeps saying 'Damn, doesn't this guy get a clue and go away' when you're out of earshot... BTW, you're welcome back into the compound so we'll save you some grass to park your tent. ----- ~~~Michael -
The message board they are using has a few holes in it so wouldn't suprise me if it got hacked. ----- ~~~Michael

It's supposed to be 70 here tomorrow. I hate having to be stuck in FL right now. Although the tunnel is teasing me being just down the road and I'm working just a bit this week... ----- ~~~Michael

I agree, that Chuck Blue guy is way scarier in person that any of the others... ----- ~~~Michael

My one and only local friend is leaving. I guess the is the beginning of the end isn't it? I'll be back on Friday night late, there on Saturday, but heading back here on Sunday... Hmmm... ----- ~~~Michael

Neither do I...Should have inserted a 'gender here'. the kitty wanted to come along on my trip today and wouldn't stay out of the suitcase when I was packing. Tis OK. Will be looking for an apt in Tampa that allows pets and I might bring her with me next week. ----- ~~~Michael

Made them, never broken them. Made them with others and I'm very careful on that now. Been attempted to be burned by a few, but I covered my bases and scared them instead. It's not a perfect world and be leary of those who just want a gentleman's agreement. What may appear to be a gentleman in some cases can turn out to be a weasel in reality. ----- ~~~Michael

2nd on the Mark Hopkins. Convenient walk to pretty much anything you'd want to do downtown S.F. ----- ~~~Michael

Oh lookie...Peoria got a little snow too. But I'm leaving that for now. I heard it was supposed to be in the mid 50's today in Tampa. I'll take that. ----- ~~~Michael

Dogs are way too much damn maintenance, messy, and other than Cara, generally not that bright. All of the cats that I've had have been pretty self sufficient if I left them for a weekend (mixing bowl of kitty food and leave the faucet running). They also play fetch, meet you at the door. It really depends on your lifestyle. If you're around a bunch, then think about the dog route. If you don't want to be tied to a four legged boyfriend, don't even think about a dog. ----- ~~~Michael

Relax people. It's not a war here. BTW, WallyWorld has struck a deal to sell Linspire based machines so they are becoming a little more mainstream. Not sure what their sales figures are though... ----- ~~~Michael
