If you order, order a couple as anything above one is cheaper and you're bound to need one at some point. When I ordered mine a few years ago, #1 was $15. Every copy after that was $0.50. ----- ~~~Michael

I hate my office...no one to blame when the coffee pot is empty, no facilities people to call when the toilet paper is empty. And the worst part? T bitches if I don't make the bed before she gets home. Working at home sucks. ----- ~~~Michael

Not for the faint of heart... The real question is, how fast was the guy going? I hit a deer in a '76 monte carlo @ 55mph in high school and it broke the headlight and cracked the turn signal light - no damage otherwise. This guy must have been cruising... ----- ~~~Michael

I've got a Toshiba and Sony lappy. The Sony is a desktop replacement for me and is in the 9.1 lbs range. P4 3.06 ghz mobile, soon to have 2 gb ram. It's mostly on my desk but would consider it too heavy to be actively mobile all the time. The Toshiba is a few pounds lighter P4 1.4 ghz mobile, 1 gb ram. For actively being mobile, this would probably be the one to go with for me. Downsides: Sony - Weight for the actively mobile user Toshiba - Doesn't seem like there is quality built into the machine. When upgrading the memory, the memory door screw head sheared itself off. Upsides: Sony - Excellent desktop replacement, occassional mobile use. Toshiba - Weight for mobile use. My opinion - upgrade your desktop and if you want a lappy too for travel, get a slower, lighter machine and spend less money. ----- ~~~Michael

One here in Peoria too - Cruiser/telephone pole altercation. Telephone pole won. Saw the cruiser on the news and they would not speculate how fast the cruiser was going but did say the officer was not on a call. There were no skid marks up to the pole either. The vehicle's engine landed 20 feet from the scene of the accident. While the officer died in the line of duty, it's pointing towards doing something 'stupid' while on the clock as they were not heading to an incident - just hotrodding.

I would. For something that long though, it would be nice if there was a segmented 'end' around the two hour mark followed by a 10-15 minute empty my bladder break. Going into all the LOTRs, I purposely did not get anything to drink. And I know Mar wouldn't make it. She's only good for 150 miles. ----- ~~~Michael
