    Read this book: http://www.38mistakes.com/. Having a credit card is part of your whole credit picture. They want to see how you use credit wisely and such. If you have no credit other than your house and your car payment, you may have difficulty getting financing for that new TV you're looking at. For a while, it was all about the score, now they're going back and looking at the score and the things that they used to look at in the past (i.e. how have you done historically).     Young grasshopper...with experience comes knowledge...with knowledge, experience. There are some people on here who are very passionate about this subject. The trick for you now is to keep your eyes and ears open. They obviously are otherwise you wouldn't be here. There are allegations being made here as to what the business practices are. Most think they are unethical. By your responses, I don't think that you agree with them...yet. Your job from here on out is to just listen in at the DZ and see if you're in tune with what is really going on there. Call the skyride number yourself and play 'dumb'. Ask about jumping somewhere that skyride is not associated with and see their business tactics. Blindly defending something (as well as blindly attacking) are very dangerous things. We're not lemmings being led to the cliff, but we've chosen to educate ourselves on what is going on. What you do from here is your choice...chose wisely. ----- ~~~Michael

    I had a Nextel and just switched to TMobile. I had one small issue with my Nextel Blackberry 6510 that no one really seemed to want to address. Through basic process of elimination, it wasn't the phone and possibly wasn't the network. Narrowed it down to the software on the phone. Unfortunately, Nextel's response was to swap out the phone ($35 cost to me) or upgrade ($160 cost to me). Well, I had already done the phone swap twice so I did the upgrade. Phone worked great...except where I primarily use it. Nextel was great except when I had an oddball hardware problem. Then no one really cared. ----- ~~~Michael

    4 1/2' fake tree this year. We're more focused on getting out of this god forsake state than Christmas right now. Besides, whatever gifts we buy eachother we'll have to move so we're tossing the money towards a place in the mountains...soon...I'll be home...soon...     Contact YOUR USPA representative and tell them you want a code of ethics put on the agenda and adopted at the next meeting. B2 they also need to adopt a rule that says they won't have any 'secret' votes. I personally think it's funny that before they awarded the nationals at one point, it went into closed session and first passed a motion that the votes would be secret. Give me a break - have balls (ladies have whatever you want) or nothing at all and step away from USPA. ----- ~~~Michael

    I love skydivers, especially this time of year. The weather starts starts to turn to crap up north, the southern DZs come to life, and we all have time to bitch about more things than any other time. Let's try to get this back on topic to Skyride and drop bringing Chutingstar into this. (Mike, if you can substantiate your AFF claims, please do bring them forward, but start a new thread - This thread is on Skyride, not this topic). Unfortunately, due to your association, you're gonna get drug into this. ----- ~~~Michael

    I now refer you to the thread that states Eric knows everything... The video vendor and the WFFC could not agree to terms at an early enough date to allow the video vendor to make the needed preparations for a video for 2004. I am currently talking with a potential video vendor for 2005's convention though... ----- ~~~Michael
