    So where is it actually? I noticed that it calls itself "Illinois Skydiving" on one of its pages. it doesn't exist. it's a scam (or a business) depending on how you look at it. ----- ~~~Michael

    While I'm all for free enterprise, I don't support the methods of the organization, such as: customer: "does xyz dz take your gift certificates?" agent: "let me check"...hold..."no, xyz dz does not take our gift certificates. Someone died there last year and they closed and out of business." Said customer did show up at xyz DZ after she saw a very nice article on the news with her gift cert. She was unable to use it, but told the dz the above happened. There's also a higher premium that is placed on their gift certs which sometimes is higher than the normal DZ's published rate. The customer arrives, sees the published rate and is not happy that they paid more. The DZ then has to deal with the problem. This is not a good business model in the whole public perception thing. Also, I don't believe that SDC accepts the gift certs from this group. ----- ~~~Michael

    Just my own observations and not fact, but it seems that the SCR is more of a must do in Texas than other places, although I've seen SCRs other places, just a majority in/from Texas.. ----- ~~~Michael

    I would have to agee. I know that the first night last year I could hear Sunshine in the middle of tent city going....oh god oh god ohhhhhhhmyyyyyygodddddd Sounded like a biblical experience to me. you forgot to add to that a sound of a zipper followed by "Hi, how are you doing?"...and a few other minutes of idle chit chat prior to going back to her bible studies... ----- ~~~Michael

    This is a good article by Gary Peek, Central USPA rep and load organizer at the WFFC. It's a good read whether or not you're going to the WFFC. I believe Bill V. has written something similar and I'll post if I find it (unless he posts sooner). ----- ~~~Michael
