Damn. I never even made the list? ----- ~~~Michael -
Go out and invest in a $200 beater to drive to work...

I agree...Beth is just technically challenged and I've got my phone setup to chunk her to my voicemail automatically...

Keystone Steel & Wire: Company to Union: Union, management has taken all the cuts that we can take. It's your turn. Here's the consessions you need to make. If you don't, we're going to have to declare bankruptcy. Union to Company: Screw you. You can't take anything from us. Company declares bankruptcy - Judge to Union: Union, you should have taken the deal the company was offering you as it's much better than what I'm going to give you. [editorial]Unions once were a necessary thing, but they sometimes do not change with the times and don't realize what a global economy can do. It's sometimes better to take consessions after looking at the financials than the 'screw you' attitude. Bottom line, if I don't agree with the reasoning the union is striking, I'd cross. Besides, ultimately I'm looking out for #1 - my mouth and my pocket... Caterpillar recently signed a 6 year contract with the union and 'had' to give some consessions on now having to pay for medical benefits. If memory serves, a single person would have to pay 15$ per paycheck ($30/month) and some were wondering how they were going to be able to afford this. I'm not sure about your situation, but Caterpillar is/was a place you could go start working on the floor building tractors and make a decent living, even after giving the union their cut of your check. The union really blew their strike fund last time they went on a multiple year strike. In the long run, the members ended up losing all the income for several years and the union ended up signing the same contract they were offered years before - and the claimed 'victory'. Truth be told, they screwed their members, but don't share that with the members. They're awed by the smoke and mirrors.[/editoral]

In P-town? Who'd a thunk...

Note: Skydive New Mexico is a club last I checked and is not a full time DZ so the delay in getting in touch with anyone would make sense.

You're kidding right? IL troopers have the book on that one.

Went to opening day a few years ago at Coors Field. It snowed. Have fun! ----- ~~~Michael

If any computer geek can fix this I'll buy ya a jump!

Assumed a hypothetical that there might be fan or other magnetic generating device nearby. I've also bought two monitors within days of eachother that had the same issue with them. Just going on experience and nada more. -

It depends on how the customs papers are filled out. When shipping overseas, the recipient is responsible for any fees - it's on the custom forms as to who is responsible. edit to clarify - on the customs forms you specify who is responsible... ----- ~~~Michael

it doesn't... ----- ~~~Michael

try ubid.com. Most of their stuff is refurbed, some is new. I've only got one machine that I didn't get there and never had an issue. (Edit to add: I've obtained 7 machines from UBid.) ----- ~~~Michael

I've seen both extremes. One thing you are going to learn quickly is that there is more to life than jumping - hanging out with the kid or hanging at the DZ...Family is important, but don't lose your own identity in the process. Also, the sooner they start walking, the sooner you can get yourself a packer in training.

Filled with boobies of course... ----- ~~~Michael

It was and should be addressed as such...not sure it's worth my time though.

I'm still awaiting the last one Ryan O. promised me on the phone when he called and said he was someone else. drop it guys...let the legal guys figure it out.

Peter- Relax. The best thing for all involved at this point is to let the court settle Ralph and Randy's dispute. I understand karma very well. It will bite those who toss a thumb at it too much. So by your comment, I'm assuming you've relocated with the rest of the former DS crew prior to Ralph's return to Brush. I hope all is well with you. Michael

Read the first post. If this is still part of the ownership battle, I'm sure what items that didn't belong to air brush, inc. would be returned. Again, haven't spoken to anyone out there so it's an assumption on my part that organization was just recovering their gear.
-
Since I know a bit more of what has been going on with the ownership dispute, I've got a pretty good idea on what happened. It appears you do too. I haven't chatted with anyone involved with either DZ in a couple weeks, so I guess I only have a theory in my head. I digress. Thanks for the warning.

Got you beat on this one...been driving an SUV since the end of January and still haven't had to put a dime of my own into the tank.

There's more to the story yes...were the rigs stolen? no. (edit: typo)
-
I'm not sure that they were stolen as much as returned to the organization that rightfully owned them. If someone is an investor in an organization, say Goodyear, that doesn't mean that one can take home a new set of tires after a tour of the factory does it?
