  1. Arrived there in low season, and something is going on about the associations that skydiving in NZ is divided in (concerning foreign licenses). But they allmost immediatley figured that out for me and arranged me to be in as many loads as possible. While business (and passenger-safety) doesn't fit allways with "fun"jumping theese guys still fight for us to fly, appreciate that! (THNX Stew!)

It's clearly hard to be neutral concerning your own DZ, but I'll try so: We are a very busy DZ compared to our region, and we do have pretty warm conditions in summer. (Warm means hot enought to sweat). The DZ is not open 24/7, but in summertime you will be able to jump every weekend and every late afternoon. The packing- area is one of the best I've seen so far, and even on busy days you should find a "canopied" place for your chute. Wind- conditions are pretty stable so in more than 90% you will land same direction. Therefore crosslandings are extremly rare _AND_ noticed each. That might sound strange, but I've seen places were landing besides the designated area seemed to be the safer choice.. I'm no pro at airplanes but our Grand Caravan delivers prompt and "comfortable". Sitting back-to-prop seems more pleasant to me than bending yourself sideways, avoiding too much force to your neighbour. The DZ is located between two (tiny) cities, but there are plenty of choices when you booked a noHome- Flight. The whole area is pretty safe and is organized like one sparsely populated city. A rental- car might be a choice, but you shall not miss anything when staying at the DZ's bonfire. There is also a popular restaurant located at the airport. On the DZ we have a computer with free Internet access. And on request - with some luck - you can even use your own devices using WLAN. Cinema, shopping malls, gas-station, electronic- shops, plenty of Bars - all within 30 minutes maximum. But not always easy to find. Ask us, I dare to guarantee best possible help. Hope to see you, Rudl Besides: I do NOT financially benefit from guests, just personally.
