LOL!!! i know. i dont know why that is, but i always look like that when i fly. i guess im thinking way to hard about it. i dunno.! I guess i need to be like the ther skydivers.. and just not think at all! think i wont have the serious thinking face! I think i may jump next friday.. hopefully i can get off at 2pm, and leave work. thanks for all the compliments yall! In all honesty, all the propage goes to Skydive spaceland's insturctors Rory and Mykel. Those are the two that trained me... and helped me out alot through my training. ALOT of on the ground stuff!! They both did an AWESOME job teaching me to dive, and more importantly.. SAFETY!! one thing i always think about is safety under canopy because of how serious mykel and rory were about it. Their passion for safety really stood out to me... Now, when can i fly again????????

I work at BP texas cIty site. It was an electrician that told me which breaker to throw. so it was really his fault. but since im the operator, at frist it always comes back to me. i just talked with my supervisor, and he is cool about it. no biggies. We wrote the report, and if you thinka bout it, there is really nothing i could have done to prevent it. ONly lesson learned here is.. i need to double check my radio so my board operator can get me. at work Forgot to turn my radio on, and went outside and threw the wrong breaker.. We lost ALL the readings on our furnace... And they tried calling me on the radio and i didnt answer cause it was off... they thought the furnace blew up and i died... But its all good now! cause it REALLY wasnt my fault. i was told to throw the wrong one, so he got the blame. I admitted to my fault though. all under the table now

we work the Du-pont schedule.. Work mon-thrusday days 12 hours ( 5am-5pm) off 7 days. work friday-mon nights ( 5pm-5am) off 3 days. work fri-sun days ( 5am-5pm) off one day work tuesday-thurs nights (5pm-5am) off 3 days, and start all over again on that monday!!! but, we are on a huge project right now, and im working EVERYDAY 12 hours a day, for 19 days in a row. then 2 days off. then back on for a nother 19 till this project is done. should be off 19/2 by november 15th! yesterday, saturday, was one of the BEST days i have had in a long time!! i absolutely loved it!! Started off waking up at 7am and prayed. then left for the dropzone!!! Jumped a 260 and did a perfect stand up landing. so downgraded to 230. landed that one. got in all my accuracy jumps AND my 25 jumps. I HAVE AN "A" LICENSE!!!!!!!!!!!

yea, its jsut a safety practice my instructor taught me, and i really liked it. i dont think i would like going under 2500 w/o a good canopy. well. maybe once i have a c or d license.. "In this game you can't predict the future. You just have to play the odds. "-JohnMitchell

2500.. if i dont have a canopy thats S^3 ( square, stable, and steerable) at 2500 feet, im chopping and going to reserve. i like this whole being able to skydive each weekend thing.

my hard deck is 2500. I learned it in STP training, and dont see any reason to go lower than that. i pitch at about 4 grand.
