involved me sleeping all night tonight at work, so that i could leave work, and go straight to the dropzone.. but, just checked the weather, and it looks like we might get some rain. may still go to the DZ anyway. i need to learn how to pack a canopy. Shes doing good. had to go outside and make some moves.. Another unit is messing me up, so i am having quite a bit of problems tonight. other than that she is good.

No, i dont drink or buy beer for religious reasons. I dont critize people for drinking, thats their freedom to do it. but thats not a bad idea to buy gatorade for everyone.. i think i will do that when i get my A license!! hopefully soon!! At what altitude is it to low to use hard turns, and being using slow flat turns? My instructor tells me to turn right to do the crosswind portion of the landing, and i always get scared because i dont want to turn to fast, and lose too much altitude. so, when do you start using just low flat turns? I can tell when i am getting close to my instructor. But when i pick a heading, and track towards it, i cant feel anything, and it doesnt even look like i am getting closer! So. i only got one jump in yesterday. i did my 10th solo! We did a closed accordian exit, and when we gained stability he spun me around and threw me off to see how fast i could regain stability on my own... instant! i tracked for 6 seconds, did a 180 and tracked back. deployed at 5,500 i love falling! the only thing about tracking is.. i dont feel anything tracking. i dont even feel like i am moving! anyone else feel like that? any advice before i go back? I am on STP 9 i think.. My last dive flow, i learned how to track... not really good though.. canopy skill were a bit under par.. im ganna go back to 260. i think this dive flow is more tracking, but not sure. i did my STP 7 8 and 9 jumps. i did alright in free fall.. my landings SUCKED!!!!!!!!! there was NO wind, and i totally crashed on my landings! i didnt PLF and i flared late! my instructor yelled at me for a bit.. i deserved it. i was pretty mad at myself for the rest of the day. actually. all three of my landings SUCKED!! my leg was kinda sore and my head and hand hurt... pride was hurt the most though. my other landings were all stand up perfect landings.. the last 4 had no radio assistance at all!!! there was no wind, and i was coming in way to fast. i was flying a 230. next time theres no wind im going up to a 260 at least. any advice on better canopy skills in no/ low wind??? i am 170 with 30 pound canopy. wingloading with 230 was .86 p.s... backflips are FREAKING AWESOME!!!! so i am here at work. trying as hard as i can to get as little done as possible. lol.. no, im a hard worker. but anyway. so i am on DZ.com, half asleep, cause i dont have anything to do right now. and my supervisor walks up behind me and decides it would be funny to fart on my head. not a loud fart, but one you dont hear. and the only reason i knew was because it started to burn my nostrils!!! everybody else in the control room laughed! my nose still feels violated! na. i've been up ALL night! maybe get a couple hours of sleep in and then head to the DZ see if i cant get some jumps in today. probably not though because of the weather.!! i HATE bad non-skydiving weather!! and its worse cause im a student so i cant jump in anything with gusts over 15mph!
