Daniel managed to chow pretty hard during one of the accuracy rounds at the Texas CPC #2 at Aggieland and has some "road rash" on his knees now. The rash is starting to tighten up as his knees swell... It's quite funny to watch him waddle all over the house... Haylee

Beware of the water and fish - I would not recommend eating any fish caught in the Azerbijain area as much of the area is contaminated with Mercury!!! (One of my former ecology professors does a cleanup/research expedition to Azerbijain each summer.) Haylee

Does it matter if you share the time with someone? Or how much time you use at once (part Saturday morning, part Saturday evening, etc...)? I'm ready to PLAY!!!! After the 4-way scrambles last weekend, I'm ready to be a poor skydiving bum again! Haylee

I'm also planning on attending the ash dive and possibly the memorial service (If Daniel can get out of doing tandems early enough). I'm still going to try and have some fun Friday, Saturday morning, and Sunday though. Haylee

($15 jumps) There will be t-shirts and goodie bags still, all for the low price of $15 Here is the revised schedule for this weekend’s Let Freedom Ring Over Skydive Houston Boogie. -4 Way Scrambles organized by Cheryl Ellisor (must have completed level 14; if you do not have a license, please remind us when you reply to sign up to account for the number of coaches needed, also coaches and jumpmasters please let us know if you are interested). -Choke the Chicken - freeflyers and belly flyers! Pass the chicken around your four way as many times as possible, land with the chicken in hand, and get it on video - the most points in each division wins a prize. (We are looking for video guys interested in filming either event, please let us know if you are available Sat. and/or Sun.) -Hit and Chug Saturday at sunset for anyone not participating in night jumps. -Saturday night BBQ and keg -Fireworks Saturday night - after the NIGHT jumps (B license qualified) -The raffle drawings will be held Sunday around 7 00PM - you must be present to win. FYI: For an NSCR you must have a B-license, have at least 1 solo night jump, and preferably have done 1 or more night RW jumps. You will be required to wear a glowstick and another light-source during freefall and while under canopy. (It's cheaper to go to Wally World and get glow sticks than to wait until you get to the DZ...) Haylee

I almost forgot, we're also doing $35 High-altitude jumps (20,000 ft) and Night Jumps (NSCRs are already being organized!)!!! Just an update: In order to get the Adren-L-N wind tunnel out for the boogie we need 400 minutes reserved by June 20th! If you reserve time by June 20th the minutes are 1/2 price!!! Reservation information: Call 1-800-JUMP-OUT to reserve your slot for any event - tunnel, balloon jumps/rides, high altitude jumps, night jumps, etc... I live in Tomball, which is 30 minutes from the DZ. From my place to IAH is ~20 minutes. I have family coming in from Dallas and Amarillo on Thursday and Friday. We're planning on crashing at the DZ all weekend - tent city to enjoy the great summer nights!!! Bring a tent/cot/hammock and join us! Haylee

Also, just to let everyone know, Balloon jumps/rides and Powered Parachute rides will be $50. The slots for the balloon jumps (B-license qualified only) are filling up quickly!
