Having never flown a Stilleto this might be a bogus opinion but I really like the Sabre 2. I did have some problems with off heading openings until I figured out that you have to "fly" the risers during deployment. Before I was hanging there like a sack of potatoes. They Bill the Sabre 2 as the best "all around" canopy and I am tempted to agree. I let Steve Sanderson fly mine loaded at 1.2 or so and he said he got a great swoop out of it. I can get 150' or so just from front risers. I love it and see no real reason to change in the near future. Sounds like you wil never be in a swoop competion so I recommend the Sabre 2. Mike

Some girl teen idol like Brittany but for the younger set...Makes millions and is doing movies now. She is not persuing the slutty image for fame and fortune....Good for her.....Everyone was really impressed with her.

Mandy Moore, her Mom, Dad and boyfriend all showed up at Perris today and did tandems. Very cool people all. I actually met her dad 3 years ago in Buenos Aires. We were non-revving on American Airlines and he was the Captain and he sat next to me in first class while he was on his rest break. We had a drink with him at the Hotel Intercontinental in Bs As. I had no idea what Mandy looked like until today but I recognized her dad. If you have a daughter that idolizes her, that is a good thing. She seems to be a very cool girl. She was very humble, polite and friendly. I am trying to talk her Dad into AFF at Perris because he is based in LA now. Mike

Having discovered skydiving after I bid my vacation for 2002, I didn't get to go to any cool boogies except Parker AZ. I am by far the most junior guy at my company but I got from July 16 to August 16 off, which should cover Lost Prarie and Rantoul, 11 days off for the Reno Air Races and 11 days for my best friends wedding! I got every week I wanted and I was the last one to choose. I got SO lucky.........Nothing could piss me off right now, not even sudsyfist.

No....the whole story is made up....Sudsyfist, rookieskydiver and I all collaberated that we would get into a "fake fight" for entertainment purposes. I made the story a little to bad and pissed everybody off. ....(Cause - 7 Heinekins). Next time I will say I was banging Steves sister or something. Word of warning - When Steve and I get together, believe nothing. We had a table full of girls convinced I was an astronaut and he was a male stripper.

So what.....the guy has 30 jumps.....If he gets scared because I "Spocked" him then grabbed his ankle till he got scared and pulled at 3 grand (I still have his shoe) then he is a pussy and needs to take up basket weaving. If I have told you once, I have told you a thousand times, don't mess with me after I have been drinking Malt Liquor!

Has a skydiver ever hit a bird? I would guess hitting a buzzard in Texas would ruin your day. Even a sparrow can bring down a plane. Some cargo turboprop suked a few sparrows in an engine which caused it to loose power, and the other engine automatically shut down in what is called a "sympathetic unstop" and the plane crashed.

The fact that you are under some illusion that you should be offended by this joke is the real problem. Are you friends with Al, Osama or Saddam? No? Then you should not be offended. If the joke had been Osama, Al and YOU, then you had the option to be offended. It was a joke, take it as such. If this offended anyone, Im sorry. Im drunker than an indian on payday right now.

Kris, When I first borrowed a protrack at 20 jumps or so, i would wait for the flatline to even throw my pilot chute. When Brenda saw the 1500-1300 altitudes on it, she crapped her pants. I had no idea. I have a friend that quit jumping 4 years ago and he says they always began deployment around 2000 not 3000 like we do now. Also, screw your career and come back to work at Perris, I miss squeezing your boob.

My didder said 1100 on an 8 way freefly during the film festival. Some guy corked and I just forgot about him. I tracked away at 4500, did my barrel roll and he was right on top of me (200') I kept tracking on my back waiting for him to pull...he took forever obviously. As soon as I saw his pilot chute, I flipped over and pulled. I could never figure out who it was.

Yes....I was ONE of the guys with the big afro...I had a lot of gold chains (Mr. T Starter Kit) and Pat Conaster and I were arguing over who was the better pimp.....I about froze my ass off too...

I don't know about everyone else, but that was one of the coolest things I have ever been to, second to the Night Bristol NASCAR race. Some grat jumping, great people, great films and a kick ass party.......You have to attend to understand..... Mike

I can't beliveve nobody has posted, or mabye they did and my drunk ass missed it, but they did it BIG TIME today. They held the record, 131 I believe for about 10 seconds. It truly was the most impressive thing I have ever seen. There were a TON of people at Perris. It was shoulder to shoulder, seriously. There was also a kick ass party in the Bomb Shelter that is probably still going on. Here is what I did not know until today. All of these girls had to raise or pay at least $2,500 to participate. Most of them are not independiently wealthy. Had I of known that, I would have given much more money to my honeys: Lisa (skybitch) Dana and Latisha. I am going to go big next year....hitting up all my co-workers and friends....The logistics and dedication involved in this event were mind blowing. You had to be in Perris to truly understand. EVERY one of these girls are my new idol. What they did cannot be descibed in words. As a cancer survivor and boob lover, I cannot think of a more worthy cause. Mike
