Help me choose colors for infinity.
drenaline replied to drenaline's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Ok the most difficult task is at hand, have to choose the colors of my future new infinity! Please take a look at the pics and tell me which one you think is better. I dunno how easy it is to get a white container dirty so take in mind that I jump in a kinda dusty dropzone. Thanks! HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com -

I haven't jumped many suits but I own a Tony pit special and the service by airtime is very very good. Just be careful when you take the measures, we are 15 skydivers using tony suit and they made 14 suits with bad measures (long inseam) including mine which I sent for downsize and they still made it bad. Like any good thing there has to be something wrong, we couldn't make the night jump cause the office closed the notam at 6:00p.m. "$%!#" politicians... Only good thing we did was a sunset jump, beautiful jump, but wasn't a night... I thank you all for answering and helping me on this thread. Gonna bookmark it for the future, I will make that night jump! HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

I thought strobe lights were not recommended. Edit to add: you tape it in your arms? and risers? I thought tape was a no no in gear cause of the sticky thing that can damage equipment. How or when do you turn on the cyalum when you put them on the risers? on a side note, am taping a small light to my arm, dunno if am going to wear my jumpsuit or a long sleeve shirt, don't want to damage the suit. Tommorrow will be my first night jump, I pretty much bought the stuff I will need (beer, cyalum lights, flashlight, more beer). I was wondering how will I glue the cyalum to my suit for the jump, any advice? I don't want to damage the suit so I have no idea on what to do. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Use anti-fog agents. The litle anti-fog bottle that came with my bonehead boomerang makes wonders, do you know if they sell it individually? HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

and a very clean mask, it is known that the grease from a unclean lens is what it makes it fog (in SCUBA, I have no idea about skydiving). HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Am not an instructor but here is what I would go for: How: take the student away from the crowd to make it a private conversation and tell him "I think you should quit skydiving because...." if he/she wants to continue then he/she should go get another instructor to get a second opinion. Why: gets in panic (freeze) with the simple thought of an emergency or never gets it right when practicing the cutaway handles, has a mental illness that doesnt lets him act in time, is to stupid to understand a thing of what you said. Use your judgment, ask another instructor to be sure that your thoughts are right and then tell the student, hey you will be saving his/her life. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

Nice scary wingload for a beginner (been there done that, regret that), first 20 rides where scary, I only knew one sentence when it opened and it was "Oh shit!". Skydiving was fun until I had to fly that mercedes down to earth and land safe (something that happened after 20 crashes with the ground). Good thing is that I have strong bones, bones that don't break but I have a weak spine and one of the injuries gave me a scoliosis, my spine looks like an S when its supposed to be like this |. If you get the 150 try to make your first landings in a soft grass just in case, trust me its better than hard soil. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
