    go watch before your jump day, if you can. You will notice that all the tandem students land in ecstasy.. not one of them will be crying !!! get it ? you will love it. ( watch youtube videos if you like, also, but get to the DZ ). is there a wind tunnel you can do first ? it is helpful.

    well,, consider making your SL jumps and maybe a couple of hop and pops......... then do some AFF jumps. That is what I would tell my daughters and nephews if they wanted to jump more after their tandems.

    Some TV specials were recently on... Sharon Tate's house was formerly Terry Melcher's house ( Doris Day's son ). Charlie was mad at music producer Terry cause Charlie could not get a recording contract. Though Charlie knew Terry had moved to Malibu, Charlie sent his 'family' to the 'Tate' house with orders to kill anyone and everyone in there. The horrific murders of Sharon, Abigail Folger, Jay Sebring and others was just happenstance. Could have been a guy named Jim Smith or whoever.

    If one goes back and reads again the Mary Jo story... it is incredible !!!! ( that someone got away with it........ Teddy even blocked the MANDATORY AUTOPSY required for ALL accidental deaths in MA. ) Some say the Mary Jo's folks 'settled' for money......... I cannot imagine that I would do the same........ I just cant. Money is not everything for me. The incident likely stopped Ted from being pres.

    In some of the videos I have seen, I am amazed the TI did not slug the passenger pretty hard to get them out of the tandem death spin frozen position.... ( hey, better than a double fatality ).

    you should have clarified that the TI removed your goggles under CANOPY, not freefall. No biggie, but he shouldnt have done it without asking. As for all the lasik scare stories,,,,,,,,,,, many many jumpers have had lasik...... many have contacts... with goggles....... it is NO BIG DEAL. ( if your goggles should break, squint really tight and get where you can safely pull... my friends have done it, I have never had to.)

    Discovery Channel showed some engineers who set up a demo that showed how the WTC buildings would indeed pancake down if you weakened the inside steal beams. It was identical to what actually happened.

    there was a V shaped lighted, silent aircraft....... and also there were flares in several places ( i imagine to provide a cover story for the secret aircraft ).

    many, many years ago, we learned in JR High School science about the self correcting, self balancing eco-system. In part, for example, a hotter sun causes more clouds which reflects more energy away from the earth, hence, cooling. This was taught back in the 60's, including a graph of the average temperature always tends to hover near the mean. Without that tendency...............
