  1. The 2nd annual Jump for Diabetes, held last weekend at Skydive Pennsylvania was a huge success. Donations are still rolling in, but so far we're raised nearly $10,000 for diabetes research. When all is said and done, it may be more than ten grand! Thanks to EVERYONE who helped make this event a success! Details recap and fun video evidence here: http://skydivechick.com/2010/08/jump-for-diabetes-2010-what-a-blast/ The 3rd Annual Jump for Diabetes is scheduled for Aug 12-14, 2011 at Skydive Pennsylvania. So far we already have 4 manufacturers confirmed to be in attendance. We're expecting it to be bigger and better than ever. We're extending the invitation to jumpers around the country who wish to get sponsors and donate their skydives that weekend to diabetes research. Contact jumpfordiabetes@gmail.com for more info. Love and Blue Skies!
  2. Speaking as an experienced jumper this is by far one of my favorite dropzones. We were immediately welcomed with open arms while visiting this dropzone. The north hangar is great, with pro shop and plenty of packing room for experienced jumpers. It's even got A/C which came in very handy on the hot summer weekend we spent there. Doug, the DZO made us feel right at home, he even organized a couple freefly jumps for us! The landing area is a little small, but if you stick to a pattern and are aware of the swoopers it's totally doable. Definitely plan to go back in the near future!
