    He did approx 200 practice jumps for that stunt. Approx 40 to 80 of them opening at 1000 feet above the net, with FAA approval. Normal skydiving rig with Epicene canopy in it, I believe.     At 300 feet or so he will roll over on his back. This is the best position to fall into the net at 120 mph (stunt-man way).
