    Skydive Moab

It was my first time to Moab, and the local jumpers made me feel very welcome. Ben and Chris were so kind to show me around the area for some local BASE jumping. The pilot, Dave, was super cool as well. Eli even organized a jump into Mineral Bottom for us. What a treat. Probably one of the most beautiful places I have had the privilege to jump into. I will definitely go back. And hopefully soon! :)

  15. Hey everyone, This Thursday is the last Elsinore Swoop Club session of the season. The weather looks perfect for this last event. If you’ve been coming out to previous events you know how much fun they are. If you haven’t made out this year at all, then this is your last chance. It’s been an incredible year with lots of different events like in-lane dragging distance, kicking beach balls, the high jump and freestyle. For this Swoop Club event, we’re going to set up the traditional distance course. The entry gates will be 5 foot gates set-up over the water. The name of the game is raw power. Get in the power-band and make the gates on each run and you’ll be swooping your way to victory. As always the event will be 3 rounds. No additional registration fees and FREE video debriefs and coaching with Jonathan Tagle. We meet at the pond at 8:30 am for the competitor briefing. Please be on time. After the event we will watch all the videos and debrief the runs. If you know you’re coming, please call the Elsinore office at (951) 245-9939 to let us know.

On October 10th, the PD Factory Team will move into the 2nd Stage of the X-Project, where 36 individuals will be asked to submit a short personal video. For the 3rd Stage, approximately 15 applicants will be invited to the PD Factory Team tryout to be held January 5-11. The entire process will be documented and blogged, and in the end up to 4 pilots will be chosen to join the team. Excellence is calling. Do you have what it takes? http://www.pdfactoryteam.com/x-project_video.php

  18. If you haven’t already heard, the PD Factory Team is expanding the project by bringing on up to 4 additional team members. There will be several stages during this process. Stage 1: Collect online application forms. Stage 2: Select 36 applicants to submit short videos Stage 3: Invite 12 pilots to come fly with us in January for the tryouts. The X-Project is currently in the first stage and we have already collected over 50 applications from all over the world. Online application forms will continue to be collected on the PDFT website through Friday, October 3rd. That’s the deadline. If you are interested in becoming part one of the most professional teams in the skydiving industry, then apply now. The application process only takes about 15 minutes. Be sure to read over the Benefits and Commitments. The FAQs on that page cover everything from “Do I have to live in the U.S.?” to “Do I have to quit my job?”.
