is this movie work safe in any way or form? .. just started this job a week ago, sitting next to the person monitoring the internet traffic ..
-
[passes the port] CHEERS!
-
... and you'll turn sour within a decade?
-
Congrats! JUMP!!
-
Do you set your brakes as soon as you land? (Be honest.)
BPO replied to Jessica's topic in Gear and Rigging
Never.. I straighten out my steering lines once a month or whenever I see they're all twisted up. But it's a good idea to start fastening them right after landing.. -
Gee.. well.. It's a good thing you guys aren't filmmakers.. you'd be making really boring movies cold silent stones falling from the sky.. Next thing you know you'll be telling me they don't fall that fast and aren't that solid.. Cheers!
-
So.. what you're saying is that all movies including big meteorites on fire should reconsider their way of representing meteorites?
-
a big meteorite would be steamin' hot (and hurt quite a lot more if it would fall on your foot)... so why wouldn't a small meteorite be a little hot?
-
5 (days works to go before next weekend):0:0 damn weather..

Nice...! by-the-way.. Either the owner of orsm.net (WARNING: DEFINITELY NOT WORK SAFE!) is a dz.com (not too work safe ) lurker or... you've practically copied the entire site in your last few posts .. Great posts by-the-way..

HeHeHe.. Nice! I tried to hold the button using a book (useless anyway), worked great! Thanks!
-
GREAT! I'm at work and totally out of motivation... I think I can hold the button for exactly 8.5 hours (just need someone to hold the button during my lunchbreak.. any volunteers??)
-
Who would chop with only a broken steering line?
BPO replied to riddler's topic in Safety and Training
I'd chop it... the landing zone at our DZ is rather small, wouldn't want to worry about landing with rear risers and NOT biting the surrounding fences or buildings.. Never even tried rear-riser landings, to me it seems like too big a risk.. If I'd have to land my reserve using rear-risers.. well.. I was having a bad day anyway.. !!PLFPLFPLF!! -
Diclaimer: I am in no way an expert! Last week I found out my pilot-chute has a tear in it. My rigger advised me to draw a box around the tear and check if it grows. When the tear grows, replace the pilot-chute immediately, otherwise: jump! btw. the tear in my pilot-chute is quite a bit bigger than the one you attached.. so I wouldn't worry too much, just give it a little extra attention.

What's so special about a Casar PC? ...learning something new everyday...
-
Germany.

Why not let the guy learn enough to become a rigger? Now that's an unnerving idea!
-
