I'm still curious as to what was messed up that caused this problem... "Damn you Gravity, you win again"
-
I'm sorry, I first interpreted your comment as condescending, hence my rant... now that I read it again I can see I probably misinterpreted it. Can't wait to make it back to the great Pacific Coast, unfortunately it looks like my best job prospects will keep me down in the dirty south a little while longer. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

I'll let you know in a couple years "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

Being thankful for what you have, and wanting something better for yourself are not mutually exclusive... I joined the military because it was the only life I knew, I wasn't ready for the real world. That was 6 years ago, I'm ready to put the skills and knowledge I dedicated a LOT of time learning on the market for fair compensation. I believe I have valuable skills and a good work ethic. Maybe I'll do well and maybe I'll end up on the street corner, but I'll never forgive myself for not trying. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

Seriously no offense meant, but I cannot stop laughing at that. "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -
About 3 years into a 6 year enlistment... Now I'm only 6 months from freedom. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

That would a minimum of 5 years or 2000 jumps. The max is 10 years.

So I'm practicing my reserve packing at home and It's going to be a week or two till I see my mentor. The only thing I've been shown so far is stack packing, so I'm trying to practice pro packing. http://www.hightimeskydiving.com/DeWolf_Pack.pdf I'm a little lost on steps 47-48 of these instructions. Which part am I supposed to cocoon? And I'm not picturing what to do with the nose to end up looking like step 49. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks ETA: fixed link "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

What do you budget to attend a boogie?
Harmless replied to GLIDEANGLE's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Boogies can be done much cheaper than that though... Carpool to the location, sleep in a tent and eat things from that you can microwave. They don't have to be expensive. "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -

If you finished the rest of my post, you'd have seen I suggested an OS that also requires you to spend no money, and in my opinion (unless you are trying to do something special and specific) provides much less of a headache. "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -

psst... that's a monitor... not a computer. But I wouldn't expect you Mac guys to understand the difference As for OP... why are you running a decade old operating system? Try http://www.ubuntu.com you might like it. And if not, you wasted nothing but an hour. "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -
Can I have one I actually haven't got to see one in person yet, been waiting for the weather to cheer up so I can head out to the Farm and buy some new toys from Mike. The Atomic is on the top of my list. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

I started jumping while on Active Duty... but I did it the same way every civilian does. Just showed up at a DZ and started jumping. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

The helmet in that picture could very well be a Cookie M1... However it might also be a Bonehead Guner. There is also the Mindwarp and All-Sport from them that might be what you are looking for. Maybe if you explained your exact needs, someone could offer more specific help. (Yes I am at work, Yes I have my entire collection of skydiving magazines at my desk ) "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

Yeah, the third time it got caught I did just that... didn't start happening till I started front 90s though. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

Little late now (not that you still couldn't) But I marked a few spots I like to put a dab of RTV to help prevent probable leak spots. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

Which is one of the possibilities. However, if this is the case I would hope that with this information brought to light that Hans would request that the owner of the site redirect the atlantaskydivingcenter.com domain to 1800skyrideripoff.com or something similar... So is it real irony that out of the astronomical amount of domain names that SR owns, they don't own atlantaskydivingcenter.com? "Damn you Gravity, you win again"
