Sony Handycam - 2010 models released ....
Harmless replied to Stueyyy's topic in Photography and Video
The 150 seems to be identical to the 110 except for built in memory and automatic lens cover... off the top of my head I didn't see any other differences. "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -
What you really need is two different functions... an AV switch to plug everything into, and an RF modulator to send that signal to your TV... Here is a quick search for a combination device that does both. http://www.amazon.com/RCA-CRF940-Modulator-Gold-Plated-Connectors/dp/B00008X5DD/ref=pd_sim_e_4 Plug your satellite, vcr, dvd, and anything else in to this. There are devices with more or different inputs, depending on your needs and the fancier one are auto switching or come with remote controls

Funny enough the part that stuck out to me was the automatic lens cover I can't count how many times I've forgotten that I closed it for some reason or another... "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -

Very true, weather is relative... I've been down in Alabama for about a year. I absolutely despise the summer here, but was relying on the fact that the winters are beautifully comfortable. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

:P I'm sure its not always the case but the majority of ones I've worked with are threaded, therefor you can break the bolts off all day long but you'r still going to be drilling them out :P "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

heat sometimes works... with a blow torch, but more often than not those bolts are going to break. Drill em out and replace with new nuts and bolts. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

Oakley Jawbone Prescription Sunglasses
Harmless replied to Boris73's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've worn multiple different Oakleys while jumping. Flack Jackets are my most common. I don't wear a prescription though. My buddy does and he wears Wiley Xs but only because he got the frames for free and just had to buy the lenses. "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -
My mom usually worked on Christmas (shes an RN) so we would have dinner on christmas eve and then go for a drive looking at lights. Then open presents when we got back. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"

Used Racer&Raven II(1992) . . . is it safe?
Harmless replied to Bodhisattva420's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
There is absolutely nothing wrong with F-111 mains... just be aware that they wear out faster than ZP. Much easier to pack though "Damn you Gravity, you win again" -
Thats a pretty broad question... what are your requirements? World travel or one country, size, physical keyboard or not, speaker phone importance, preferred network? network is irrelevant being in Australia. But things i do want are GPS, (unassisted preferred) Music, WiFi, Internet access readable screen for a near blind guy probably have a video or 2 a few music albums a reasonable camera for emergency pics/ video oh and it has to have telephone capabilies Well that completely rules out the iPhone :P But about the network, I ask because I don't know how often you leave Australia and to where. Europe uses the same GSM frequencies as Australia (900/1800MHz) and The Americas for the most part use 850/1900MHz) Tri and Quad band phones would then be important to you. Also, the US and a lot of Asia also use CDMA instead of GSM (CDMA alongside of GSM in the US) All that said... http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_hd2-2957.php An AMAZING phone (although I wish it was android based) Best hardware currently on the market and HTC did a awesome job skinning WM and adding multi touch support. I believe it is due in Australia next month. Being sold by T-Mobile in Europe currently. "Damn you Gravity, you win again"
