What you really need is two different functions... an AV switch to plug everything into, and an RF modulator to send that signal to your TV... But things i do want are GPS, (unassisted preferred) Music, WiFi, Internet access readable screen for a near blind guy probably have a video or 2 a few music albums a reasonable camera for emergency pics/ video oh and it has to have telephone capabilies Well that completely rules out the iPhone :P But about the network, I ask because I don't know how often you leave Australia and to where. Europe uses the same GSM frequencies as Australia (900/1800MHz) and The Americas for the most part use 850/1900MHz) Tri and Quad band phones would then be important to you.
