It looks like I have 622nd place wrapped up right now!! I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I like when I see Bad threads before they are gone I missed freefly tips. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I think you should try and hook up your rig to a hanging harness and try! I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Validation of Tinkerbelle's D#272
wzettler replied to Tinkerbelle's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Ooooooooo!!!! Who cares? These discussions on numbers are such a waste of space. I don't care what anyone's number is. I can't believe this is so important to people. Another thing I can't believe is someone would give away their number just because when they were giving out low ones he didn't get one that was low enough! That is so petty. So give it away? Yeah, way to show em. And let me tell you how jealous I am that you have a borrowed number. I am so thoroughly impressed. That really makes you special. Look people, its about having fun in the air. Why do people troll on here and in the real world to try to create all this drama? Just have fun skydiving and quit all this idiocy (imo that is). I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them. -
This just some thoughts in general: So does this mean that jumpers (both BASE and skydivers) have been jumping higher wing-loadings than they thought? I guess it does. I guess that if a more accurate system of measuring square-footage is available then wing-loading recommendations would also have to be adjusted? Maybe the PIA would think this is too much of a pain to switch to, kind of like in America we still don't use the metric system when most everyone else does. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Thats exactly what I have been thinking... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I think I am confused too. First you said: then you said: next you said: So here is the issue I am confused on: If God "directs the project" of the Bible, how can He allow people to "twist" His Word and allow other versions that are copyrighted? Is that how we are suppose to know which is the real version? What if someone made another version of the KJV 1611 and claimed Divine Inspiration and didn't copyright it? Oh yeah, and later on you said something to the effect that there were reasons why God guided the process so it was translated into English. Are you saying that God prefers English? Does He prefer English speakers over non-English speakers too? I'm so confused... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Thats pleny of time to see Rome if that is where you want to go. If you've never been to Europe, then thats my vote. The best food I have ever had was in Italy. I think that everyone should experience other cultures and get a feeling for the world... Thats my 0.02... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I've been to Rome. Its definitely fun, but it depends on how long the vacation is. How long were you planning to go for? I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I'm sure you will be briefed as to operating safely in and around the helo before the actual jump so I wouldn't worry about that too much. I wear my helmet on helo jumps and can hear the wind build up fine. I wouldn't go without it, but its a personal preference... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Some funny thoughts about riggers and booze after a reserve ride
wzettler replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in The Bonfire
Along those lines... I was thinking of getting my riggers ticket sometime in the future. I always pack my main for myself and I thought (in reference to having packed my reserve too) that if I didn't get it right the first time (with the main) I may want to let someone else have a crack at it with the reserve... I'm still going to get a riggers ticket I think because I want to learn more about gear, but I thought I would add my funny thought... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them. -
Finally good temps I like the warmer weather 60 is the high. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

It was definitely an awful thing. At my office we had to review the entire video (they only showed parts on TV) and it was tough to watch. I feel bad for all that the families have had to go through. I am glad that the clubs are up to date now... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Thanks Tom, agreed. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I am really enjoying this discussion but I'd just like some clarification on this if you could. Does this mean after you've figured out how to fly the suit in a stable manner? I would agree that your statement is true once you know how to fly the suit, but it took me a few skydives on a wingsuit (GTi) figuring out a body position for the ability to fly solidly (without potato-chipping a bit) and mess around with turns. I would think that that would have taken who knows how many (especially since I don't have any) BASE jumps to figure out just because of the time in the air flying the suit. Maybe I'm just thinking of actual freefall time in the suit correlating with better flying skills in the beginning of learning to fly one. Could you expand? Thanks... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Use 3 bu make the blue on the sleeves only the bottom half, not the whole thing... Thats my 0.02 I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I will be off work in an hour and home in 2. My PWing may commence then with beer in hand unless I go to some happy hour or something... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

From: http://www.koyn.com/CloudDancer/articles/2002/ffWFFC02.html "A Monkey Flip the two freeflyers, one headup with a chest strap grip and the other head-down, make a frontlooping rotation about each other. To stop the loop rotation, the freeflyer arriving back to the headup position pushes on the chest strap of the head-down freeflyer." Maybe that will help...

Definitely not dorky. Definitely cool.

Yeah, I'm getting there too! I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

that the universe is 13.5 bililon years old. If you know that then you probably know that the Sun is 4.5 billion years old (which is almost half over). If you put the Sun's lifespan on a scale that stretches between NY city and LA and walked it then you would take a step every 2,000 years. All this makes me think about how short our time is here and makes me believe even more that we shouldn't waste a moment. Have fun and LIVE! I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I gotta say "other." I can pick three skydiving movies that I think are better than those... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I wouldn't call that NSFW unless you cant have curse words on your speakers. Either way, I thought that was funny! I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.
