You are correct, but when you take the fighting force, and I am not talking about the random infantry units here, and you give us huge budget cuts it is going to hurt us. Start by taking money from those infantry units, do not take money from the Ranger, Green Baret, Seal Teams and other Special Operation Forces. These are the guys that are going after the Top Level Taliban and AQ Leaders. So when you take away 87 million dollars that is used for Training, Equipment and gear and STILL have to Maintain a mission where do you think that the first short falls are going to be? Well you still need the Equipment to get those jobs done right? Maybe we could do with a little less training.. No that is not the right answer. Lets bring it back to Obama's Bailout Plan for a moment. 1.5 Trillion Dollars. Did it need to be done? Lets look at some of these things. Auto Workers. Screw the industry, American cars while they are an Icon are pieces of shit. As soon as NAFTA came out they shipped a lot of their jobs to Mexico. Toyota is the leading US Auto Producer and continues to out sell all American cars. Why is that? Citi Group needed 300 Million dollars? Why because they made bad business decisions by loaning money to people that could not afford the loans. No way can a family that earns 8k per month afford a 400k house. But because of the Balloon loans they made it so they could for a few years until the rates changed and the mortgage was upped to where it should have been in the first spot. I do not agree with this one bit. We do have a National Health Care System. It is called Medicare. If that is not bad enough, add to it The Welfare system that is so taken advantage of. Now I would be willing to wager that each and everyone of us knows people on Welfare, that is unless you live in a cave. The Welfare system allows deadbeats to not work, sit at home, get fat and do nothing. Now I believe that this is a good system if you need help to get on your feet, but it should not be used as a soul means of income. The Medicare system is not enough, we need something better. With all of the money that we are spending Importing everything because it is too expensive to manufacture here in the US we could be using that Tax Revenue to pay for a better system. I am not sure what to do about this as I do not have a good answer. I do believe that our President Obama has screwed up the National Debt to a point that not even the Chinese will buy our bonds anymore. Everything could be routed back to 1964 in my opinion. To anyone that knows, this is the year that Silver and Gold replaced the backing for our money. In most other civilized nations in the world gold and silver still back their dollars. So lets side track back to what is going on in the world right now. In 2001 4 planes were hijacked and flown into strategic centers of the United States. 2 into New York and 1 into Washington D.C. We all know that the 4th plane was bound for someplace, but that may never be known. At this point in our Nations History I was working in Denver as a Plumber for Total Plumbing. TP was a large Non Union shop. In the Days following the Skyjacking we started losing big business. Large construction was being cut back because everyone feared for the Dollar. The rich people actually fund most things. Now take into account that a company who spends money has to hire workers, companies and others to do their work. These smaller businesses pay other companies, employees and others. This eventually brings it down to every employee that the smallest of companies has. This money is then in turn used to pay for things, food, groceries, utilities, skydiving, and everything else that we use in everyday life. So when the largest of companies starts holding onto their money it is going to put the entire country in a recession. War, War is big business. The training that we do, the gear that we use, and the services that we require all end up in the consumers' hands. ALL of the Men and Women in today's Armed Forces are doing this voluntarily, the US Military has been a completely Volunteer force since 1973. Everyday it breaks my heart to see that Men and Women are being killed in the Wars. Some of this cannot be prevented, some could with better training. Budget cuts where they are taking away 30 - 40% of our Military Budgets are just going to hurt us. Make no Mistake about it. You see on the news that some American Service Member killed, raped or did some other vile thing to bring down our Nation's respect. What you do not see is that last night our Military members killed over 20 of the Taliban's upper chain of command, their Facilitators, Commanders and Higher Ups. Now that all of this background has been laid out and most of you have stopped reading because it seems long winded lets bring everything back to the health care bill. Why do we need 1200 pages to a health care bill that basically gives us little but takes so much. I guess that you can argue that the rich do not need health care because they can pay for everything from their pockets. So why should they pay for all of the little poor peoples health care? I will tell you that this bill is only going to hurt the little people. Money is getting tighter all the time, Food, Clothing, Gasoline. It all adds up and we will feel this before we see any benefits for the Health Care Bill. Just remember Winston Churchill's Quote from George Orwell's Speach. I am under Instruction at Suffolk. If you are in the Military and you enjoy Military Instruction this might be where you want to go. The DZ Manager is great, lots of information and friendly. The DZ Owner is Retired Navy. The AFF/TI staff is made up of many Retired and Active Duty Military Free Fall instructors. These guys are not doped up, not getting high after work and safety is the number 1 priority to them. The Pilot is a Navy Pilot too! We also have many military jumpers on the weekends, and if your command has Half-day Fridays we jump them too : ) Pros: Good Airplane PAC 750XL, Professional Instruction, Safety Orientated, Friendly DZ, Good Landing areas. Cons: 42 miles from Virginia Beach, Last year instruction was slow - Instructor vs. Student ratio was low (new instructors on the DZ now, this weekend instructors went home because there was too many) No matter where your choice to jump is I am sure that everyone is top notch in the area. Well, I am in the Navy. I have had a LOT of crappy roommates over the last 12 years. What I suggest is to talk with him about the situation, either do everything yourself and suck it up, make lists and leave them around the kitchen. With the bills just send everything yourself, tell him you need x amounts of dollars and collect on payday before he goes to the bar!! Another good option is wait until his friends come over to the house and then start doing all this cleaning and ask him to give you a hand. ...and then fuck his girlfriend! Hi all, I have a question about dealers. I am currently a student but I am looking to buy a rig. I have worked with Arizona Arsenal when they support us for military stuff. I talked with a couple of them and they suggested Voodoo rigs being extremely Freefly friendly. I have read many reviews and they seem great. Maybe Mirage is better but long wait times. So what I'm looking for. Voodoo V4 with PD parachutes 170sqft. I don't know a lot, but I'm small and can fly 170 at the smallest. I called RI but I have not heard much. I am leaving soon to Afghanistan so I want to order so its ready when I get back. Any suggestions on who to go with? Maybe contact info? Also I want a cypress2, I believe they are the best from things I read and my life is worth the money of the 4 year check-ups. Now as far as a main, what do I want? Saber2 or. One of the others? The PD Reserve is new, never been used with 1st repack due in OCT 07. The Cypres2 is brand new. The container and the main canopy both have 215 jumps, the reserve has 0 jumps and the cypres was never fired. Free Fly friendly, RSL installed, no holes, tears, or patches.
