i did two jumps sunday from 10.5 agl (11k msl i think) first one hat a ground temp of 40 an a 9k temp of 4 with windchill's well into the negative.. second one ground temp was 32.... doubled up gloves and had neck warmer on; first jump wasn't bad second jump though froze condensation onto my googles when i opened and my fingers were numb for the long ride down

well i jumped my pack lol and it opened great .. lil end cell closer on the left side but easy fix .. annddd i finished of my coach jumps .. 8 solos and then my check dive

thanks im quite happy i jump at keystone skydive center .. awesome group of people did 3 more packs today .. and as i was finishing up the last one the dzo/rigger placed a piece of paper with my name on top of the container .... i just said "really?!?!" haha so i guess im jumping my first pack tomorrow .. hope it doesn't open too hard

thanks yea i have one more coach jump im doing this Sunday .. have 3 assisted packs but going to be going down this Saturday for more ... and once i started the coach jumps i figured out the landing pattern and last weekend even with hardly any low level wind i got withing about 10 feet of the target on both jumps and walked them both ... i was pumped

not this past weekend but the weekend before i passed my 10 aff levels .. and did a solo fun jump .. which actually stressed me out lol im used to them telling me to do this and this and this .. not just have fun... last weekend i got 3 coach jumps down (fall rate, docking, and docking with problems) just have the swoop docking left .. and tips/tricks ? ... after this last coach jump assuming i pass i'll have 9 jumps left till my A license (assuming i pass the check dive also) annnddddd i finally walked my landings only walked 1 off radio during aff but yea anything i should know about the swoop docking i tend to fall slow (cupping the shoulders a bit)

know i already posted buutttttttt ... as of yesterday i graduated AFF .. and did one fun jump solo .. weird jumping and not *having* to do anything ... just did 2 flips then a lil practice on turning/forward motion and my landing pattern all be it sloppy got me home with no problems started aff 2nd week in October now for my a license

for 8 of my aff jumps the manta 288 opened nice and slow .. but last weekend i had one that i thought i shrunk a inch it hurt alot

only on my 7th jump but the first one of the day always has me saying "why the hell are you doing this?"

while i don't believe myself to be the ugliest i do seem to have horrid luck with women haha but i gotta tell ya i feel a lil better about myself after looking through this post

Welcome ! im new myself (8 jumps) i actually got lucky though my dz had just gotten a rig in from a friend of the dzo .. this guy must have been my twin cause it fits me perfect ... now i just have to get weened off the 288 ( new rig is a 190 1:.89 )

there was a different type of gas leak lol so far the aff has gone great only free fall issues i had at start were my legs coming up but on my aff lv5 i had no issue's did 6 90 degree turns waved at 4.5 lv6 was the first solo exit kinda banked on the exit but got stabilized quick and did 3 360's stopped maneuvers at 5.5 would hate to fail for pulling late cause i got greedy only real issues ive been having is the landing pattern i understand how it should be done but havn't been to great at getting it done .. first un assisted flair was a lil low put i rolled it out 2nd a lil high 3rd was at a good height but i kinda landed and squatted but my butt never touched the ground... my 4th landing was in a crosswind cause of my lousy landing pattern i almost ran it out but ended up dropping the shoulder a bit and just rolling it out can't speak highly enough about the staff/people at keystone though they are all very helpful and family like ...

hi neweb from Pennsylvania had a tandem jump 9/20/09 .. started aff 9/26/09 as of this past sunday i passed my aff lv6 .. jumping at keystone skydiving center great place to jump love the instructors even when the smell of lilacs in the plane (for you jen) haha i know at least one of them read this site but yea im hooked selling the motorcycle and going to live at the dz
