I saw an advert on TV for a spiderman stunt set that has the S-man swinging from webs around street scenes you can make up with buildings, lamp posts etc......that could be it........here's a link: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3219165&sourceid=1500000000000000629120 We got our wee one a spiderman glove that has a "web" (silly-string") slinger, dart launcher and waterpistol......trouble is my hands are too damned big to get it on! I use PayPal for all my online dealings, it is quick and reliable, I can't see how you would get any problems using it........ ........but I am pretty slow and special sometimes, so you may want to ask someone else....... Hi Mike, Interesting read, and well written. I am not a base jumper, having had a very short base career (2 jumps at BD 2003, the second of which resulted in a shattered heel). I just wanted to tell you about some awesome shoes I now have that take a lot of the pain out of walking. My injuries resulted in arthritis in most of the joints in my foot, so everyday life is painful. http://www.zcoil.com/index.html These shoes may look pretty ridiculous with the huge metal spring in the heel, but they say they remove 80% of the impact from each step as well as giving me some "suspension", as my foot joints are seized. I don't think they are sold in the UK (I'm from Scotland living in Houston, BTW) but if you are willing to take a chance on getting the size right, I can't tell you how much I recommend these shoes. This is DEFINATELY worth the admission fee - yes, it is showing pretty standard jumps but in a way mosy of us have never seen before. - I was!! Remember - they are carrying a pretty damned huge camera while doing these jumps, so to get footage like that I think is pretty impressive. What I dont uderstand is why a movie like this undersells itself. It mentioed that freefliers can reach speeds of up to 200mph - why not tell them that speed skydivers can reach speeds well over 300mph? Anyway! There is a one-armed skydiver at Skydive Houston, but my crappy memory cannot remember his name. I'm sure if you email SDH at info@skydivehouston.com they would be able to put you in touch with him or ask around for who his instructors were. Hope this helps........ I'm with you!! I'm into my third week after smoking for about 14 years and I loved to smoke!! I'm going thru a shedload of sunflower seeds at the moment - they help keep me busy when I get cravings. I've tried to quit countless times, but this time is far easier for some reason - I think the fact that it was done spur-of-the-moment helped take the pressure off, and I'm finding it not too hard. I don't want to ruin my work so far and starting at zero again, and I dont want to disappoint my girlfriend who quit at the same time (but who has had 3 smokes since!). Interesting info - a recent study said that people who quit smoking before the age of 35 are more likely to live longer than lifelong non-smokers! Hobbes: "How come we play 'War' and not 'Peace'?"
