  1. Cons: The gear and its maintenance. The gear they use is all very old. Most of it is for static line, but the rigs that are rented out are original Vectors and similar equipment with the main pin protection flap almost falling off. However, I will attest that the gear is airworthy, you just have to keep an eye out for the closing pin coming out in the plane. The landing area is dirt and dry twigs and the packing area is very small as well as where many people walk through. Good luck keeping your parachute nice and clean, but its more of an inconvenience than anything. Pros: Everything else. They served us lunch around noon, the people were very open and friendly, and they always made sure to have an experienced jumper oversee the newer students in the plane. Overall its a great place to go jumping and I will be going back soon.
  2. My DZ says no to dogs, but we had one by yesterday. Took a crap on the carpet in the packing area. The smell wasn't pleasant at all since we were waiting for weather to pass and didn't want to open the hangar door.
  3. Did my level 7 dive on the last load to go up today. Making my graduation solo tomorrow! On that note, anyone going to be at ASC tomorrow or Thursday and want to do a 2-way or something?
  4. I did my first AFF today as well. Got in the first three already and going back tomorrow for more.

  6. Just went up to Mile-Hi in Longmont, CO yesterday and made my second tandem. I'm addicted and can't wait to start AFF in June.
