And on THAT note, I'd like to talk a bit about a subject very near and dear to me...mandatory RSL use for people wearing blue helmets...your thoughts Dave? It all depends on the color of the RSL. Does a it match the helmet? After all, its all about how good you look while doing it Color IS important when choosing an RSL, that's a given... PINK is a safe AND attractive color IMHO....your thoughts? Pink is safe, but statistiacally you are better off with a turquoise RSL. Civil.....many time when people attmept to redeem your gift certificates, and learn they cant, the last thing they feel is civil. Or perhaps you should simply just be thankful that someone thought enough of you to give you said gift. Ever think about that? The term ungrateful sure comes to mind right about now. Or even worse when you attempt to redeem the certificate, but you are told that the DZ doesnt except the certificate from a specific "vendor". The term for that "vendor" is unethical business. Everytime you buy a jump ticket you have proof you are not going to bounce? edited add: your rig with the parachute and the cypress dooesnt work everytime. you still bought it. i guarantee you do not do research everytime you buy something. sometimes you use your common sense rather then researching. dont you? but if you need proof there is enough studies done that show that peoplew who live closer to plants (like chemicalp plants, pulp and paper plants, etc) run a higher risk of getting luekimia. Part of Gore's "product" is reducing pollution put out by the plants. Do you need to do research on that? I buy that without having to do research. Yes, oil companies make money by getting you to use their product. Yes, Gore makes money by getting you to use his products. Because many people distrust research done by oil companies soley because they stand to make money from it but those same people don't distrust research done by Gore even though he stands to makes money from it. Much like a parasite over time destroys a human body, humans do the same to the earth. Our human bodies can deal with parasites by fighting them of, and regenrating certain parts detroyed, but over time we lose unless a parasite is removed. Same with earth. Over time it too will lose unless we remove what we are doing to harm it. I am buying into Gore's product, and he doesnt have to show me proof. The worst is when you are looking for something just to soon realize the thing you are looking for is either in your hands (remote), or you are wearing on your head (sunglasses). Oil companies make money by polluting this earth. Gore is making money by attempting to clean it. I am not sure why people have such an issue with Gore making money. This is capitalism, isnt it? Without someone making the money, the issue of cleaning up the mess we made on this planet will not get the media time it deserves.
