I had an opportunity to work at the animal research center for the Shriners Burns Institute in Galveston one summer. They experimented with synthetic skin on burnt animals. Basically they took pigs, gave them burns, applied synthetic skin, and tested if it would take. While it seemed cruel (animals were put under anesthesia during the burning process), I also had an opportunity to meet children, some of who’s bodies were covered 95% in 3rd degree burns, as well as their parents. I saw 10 year old boys burnt so bad that they had no genitals left. It was these kids that were being helped through the testing done on the pigs and sheep. I took a year off from jumping, and my year is now up. I will be getting back into jumping come April. I sold my gear last year, but looking to get some new gear. Beat the dog!! Kidding One thing you can do is train the dog to poo in a specific part of the house. Place newspapaers in the kitchen and every time you see your dog is getting ready to fuck up another rug, simply pick her up and take her to the newspaper. Also give her treats for going there and let her know you are very happy about it. When she goes anywhere else IMMEDIATLY stick her nose in her mess and let her know you are not happy with her. If more than 5 mintues go by from the time she made the mess to the time you are getting ready to punush her...DONT...after 5 minutes the dog will no longer know why she is getting punished.
