  3. don't tempt him. don't fucking tempt him. that sick mother fucker (yeah, you know who you are, you weirdo!) saved those pics on his camera and showed them to me at Skydive Spaceland this weekend. Someone there came up to him and said, "Walt, you are one sick Mother Fucker!" That made him so proud. attached. 5. Anyone flying should ask for a TSA supervisor when checking in for flight and explain to them what the gear is for. They will probably be ok with you checking it. 7. Being military has nothing to do with being a skydiver... Yes we welcome all. We are one big family made of many diff people, types, cultures, personalities, etc... Ok, I see what's going on here. You skimmed over the post only really read one thing bolded it and decided to make a reply being defensive. I wasn't trying to be offensive. I am have been a Marine for 10 years and I am one currently. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to a military personality. Just because a soldier is a skydiver doesn't mean he or she doesn't have a personality type that may be hard to understand. If you read all my post I did say they will welcome him there. 10. I'm serious no one knows you are coming. Except for people at the bar and an occasional person here and there that may notice. This is mainly if you need to land a little further down the beach than the actual intended landing area. But still, if someone has just shown up and has not seen a previous load landing or it is first load that day, expect for people ask if you came form a parasailing boat and ask some really wierd stuff or not even know at all until you touch down. Edited to add. There is a wind sock Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

  12. The DZ will have one of both. Hopefully, they will have a recent one of the beach. However last year they changed landing zones for a couple of different places on shore. so the aerial pic wasn't much use. Not sure if Google earth would have a current pic. Main thing to think about when doing beach jumps is Kites, buildings (turbulance from them also), Landing cross wind technique and with traffic, people on the ground moving and not expecting you, misc obstacles on the beach. The DZ manifest will be glad to give a brief when you get there. 13. Nevermidn the gay stuff, it really shouldn't have anyhting to do with it. 14. Isn't the Double Diamond one of the formations built last month by Kirk VanZant's group in Sabastian and featured in photos in this month's Skydiving ? It appears that Europeans should not attempt formations of this difficulty, as this poses a clear danger to themselves and many spectators and farm animals on the ground below. Kevin K. Yes we did build an hour glass/ double diamond with Kirk. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker
