Yes, I am aware of that. You answered your own question. It is sort of tough to get it. So far I have only had to do everything once. I am taking my time. I still have to log 40 more jumps and apply for a D, get five more accuracies, and jump smoke. Oh and the written test for the PRO. Nope. Not yet. When I actually get the rating, I will consider it a rating to learn just as I have my riggers ticket. As in much of everything in this sport. Thanks for the heads up. Definately considered. when I was thinking of making my own. Did the searches and found lots of great stuff I didn't think of yet. I just figured posting new would get up to date info. I beleive that methods and equipment change over time. Just my thoughts. Thanks for your post. I just got back in town yesterday and just got to where I could catch up. Excellent work! Thank! Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

I would like to use it in free fall. but a hop and pop and then smoke is fine with me too. either way I don't care as long as I can fill the requirement. Thanks for the tips. So I guess since I am building my own bracket, I need to place a heat shield on it. since cold smoke only burns cooler. I'm trying to get a PRO rating. I only want to fly the smoke once to get the rating so I'm looking for a reliable canister that will fire and burn the first time. Does anyone know of a place to get them and are they reliable? Pick and choose your battles. This isn't one you should fight. Leave the invisible wall up, you'll get used to it. and it will keep you safe, you never know what else they have in the skeleton closet. Like I said leave it alone don't get involved. Do as the husband asked. If you really need a reason as to why so you can move on from this event that took you by surprise, then based on what you have written, she may be looking to find a reason to split and blaming him for infidelity in the relationship is easy. It's always easier to place blame than to just stand up and be honest in that situation. Some people just can't handle taking responsibility for a break up and they create being a victim. Or as I said before there has been cheeting in the relationship before and she won't forgive. or maybe she did it and is perinoid that he will. That coupled with the fact that they aren't married. Some people look at a marriage as locking someone in weather they admit it or not. Agreed with most everyone in the thread. Leave it alone and do as the hubby asks. The reasons why she acted that way are not your business. I'm guessing there was some sort of in fidelity in thier relationship before and she just won't forgive. or maybe it;s the fact they aren't married and maybe she wants to be. What ever it is, leave it alone try to forget it and don't ask about the husband to her. It's best to just stay out of it. Want to screw with someones mind? Show up at an abortion clinic Picket line and ask for a coat hanger because you locked your keys in the care. How do you screw a fat chick? Roll it and roll it and roll it until you smell shit and back off one notch. These two gay guys are just about to have sex when the guy on the bottom farts. I talked to Brenda yesterday on the phone about it . . . she confirmed that I had the publication number correct, and the broken link I had was all they have as well. She said that the FAA has hung the file on their website, but they don't know where it went. I emailed GPO this afternoon . . . _______________________________________ Thank you, for that. I'm really, anxious to see it. please, keep us posted on anything you might learn of this. Chuck I got a reply from Sandy today. He said that USPR website would have an update on the pub in the next few weeks. he also said that the FAA and GPO were to have it available for download but of course as has been stated there is a problem with that. So it's pretty much a waiting game. It was suggested earlier in the thread to call local FSDO and see if they had a copy to give away. Since it was in limited print, I would give my FSDO a call, but I have a feeling they would know what I was talking about. I agree with some of the other posters in the thread. I'm guessing there is some other issue and what is on the surface is what gets the blame. I would recommend sitting down with no distractions and talk it out. I mean talk not yell or have a pointing figers argument or anything else of the sort. talking also means listening. If that doesn't work then couples counseling. That work for a friend of mine. I don't think it's really skydiving. Lots of guys get grief over fishing or going to the game or poker night. Sounds cruel and unusual. I can't play golf very well so I wouldn't be able to chip my pet anyway. They aren't made of glass either. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

Safety Day is this Saturday, who is doing what, where??

Keep it short, we gotta do CRW! I will only take as long as one properly performed CRW jump will take. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker -
Are you in the Army? If so that explains it. I have heard plenty of Soldiers complain of being treated like a kid. I have always been treated like a responsible adult by the Marines since I graduated boot camp. Speaking at www.skydivecarolina.com about canopy traffic, how to avoid collisions and what to do if you are in one. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker -
Correct. I was just on the other side of that formation. and couldn't see the wrap til the video was shown. I was just starting serious CRW then. talk about WTF factor... I do not have the document. I do not have access to the document. I am busting my ass via email and over the phone to get my hands on the document itself or the download link. I'm sorry that's not good enough, but it's the best I can do for now. When I get solid information, I will post it. I PM'd you the broken link - good luck with that. MstSgt- I wasn't trying to be ugly or start anything. I didn't realize that you were typing so much to the FAA that your ass was busted. I didn't say you had access to the Document. I didn't say you had the document. In my original post, I didn't directly ask "what was the pub number?" "who was the author?" "Does anyone know where to get it?" Or any other information leading to the whereabouts of this manual. I assumed that rigging was a small enough community without egos and that info of any kind wouldn't have to be asked for and would be readily shared without a second thought. Even if it does lead to a dead end road for now. For all of that I apologize. Thanks for the PM. Luck has nothing to do with it. Gunnery Sergeant Of Marines. I would also like to know where it is supposed to be. Could I also have a PM of the link? I would have the slightest idea why any of this information would be a big secret. So far I have had to ask for each and every detail on the subject. I think it should have been offered without being asked for in the first place. Aren't we a community that is supposed tohelp each other? Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

So what is the link? So when it gets fixed we can all put high traffic on it and break it again. I'de also like to send it to Dewolfe to let him know he can stop harrassing the FSDO in PA about it. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

Just sent to Dewolfe. If he finds out anything before you get post here, then I will post here also. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

Do you have the publication number? I have been emailing with Dave Dewolfe on the subject. That is how I got the authors name. If I sent him the pub number maybe he can get somewhere. he's pretty tight with the FAA up there in P.A.
