Back in the day when I used to fly on my belly I ordered an RW suit with neon yellow grippers like that. I was accused of wearing bug lights. Seriously - nice suit. Now go jump it!

With national stuff I get a room and per diem. I took this as a local gig since originally I was supposed to move to the area. But that didn't happen so I have to make other arrangements. I'm a freelancer and yes, my boss is cheap! Fall in dove.

Another thought - what's the closest dz? If it's less than an hour I can cope with that. I'll be working until about midnight and then have to be back about 7-8am the following morning each day so don't want to be too far away with traffic and all. edited to add: closest dz with a shower! Anyone know of anywhere safe-ish to sleep in my car in NYC this Friday and Saturday? I was thinking of going to the closest service stop on the Jersey Turnpike but apparently they don't allow you to sleep in your car at those places. Any ideas? I was gonna go to a hotel parking lot but they only do valet anywhere in the city and it costs $40 just for the car! Holy crap! Fall in dove.

This thread is one week too late. I got totally lost in Chicago last week when the car rental place gave me bogus directions to the hotel. At least I was staying at the Sutton Place so when I FINALLY got there it was worth it.... walk into my room to find the stereo on and playing a CD from the collection provided, fresh bucket of ice on the bar, and a beautiful orchid in the bathroom (robe is a given.) God I love that hotel! Oh - and they did a great job fixing up Wrigley field - or whatever the heck they're calling it now. Nice! Can't wait to check out the new Soldier Field! Looked cool from the air..... last time I was there 2 years ago it was a dump. Glad they didn't tear it down though - too much history. It's a classic!

3 years Don't have a specific best memory, but I'd have to say that this summer was one of the best jump-wise. I haven't done much over the past 2 months, but I started the summer jumping HARD and got some serious kickass jumps with some serious kickass freeflyers: Craig Amrine, Storm Dunker, Dave Donnelly, Steve Curtis, Brian Buckland, and (more recently) Orly King. Learned a lot of cool shit and had a great time doing it. :) LOTSA yummy memories. Fall in dove.
