Clean is always number one! But in general, trimmed or shaven. However, since I have been my partner lately I prefer me shaven (velvety soft!). I thought most guys liked long hair on chicks for the delicate whispy effect while we go down on ya. Fall in dove.

I agree with Skymama. Thongs are lifechanging. Why, I find myself gently caressing my smooth hiney through my clothes all the time now! It just feels so... heavenly without the extra piece of cloth and the panty lines. Of course, I have decided no undies at all today after a guy friend told me last night he did that just on a whim. I'm gonna go to the dz and do some jumps in just my shorts! Wheeeeeee! Air time! Fall in dove.

I can't believe I'm saying this to a guy, but I prefer small. Very cool design. Fall in dove.

I use tube stoes and love them. They roll very easily and I use short stows. I tried converting to small rubber bands and was getting smacked (my lines are small so even with a small rubber band and longer stows it was quick) and double wrapping the larger bands wasn't working either. So I went back to what gave me awesome openings and that is the tube stoes. And something that always scares folks... I actually double wrap the small tube stoes. I know, I know. But I use small (usually about 1 inch) stows and it works perfectly for me. And I am anally neat with my lines and my stoes (no twists allowed!) so I don't worry about messy lines getting the tube stoe caught or even a twisted stoe causing a bag lock. If I ever do have a bag lock I'm sure I'll rethink it. But the stoes have been around for awhile, there's no recall on em, no epidemic of bag locks due to them. You can have a bag lock no matter what you use so just be ready. Oh, and besides the awesome openings I get from them... I also like not having to look for rubber bands (the stoes can last for hundreds of jumps) and they don't chew up my fingers the way bands do.

Holy crud! I never noticed you live in Virginia! You should come out to Skydive Orange and play this summer. We'd have a blast! Oh yeah, and we'd skydive too! I know exactly how you feel. When I first started jumping I'd ache for air all week long and count down the minutes until the weekend when I could go to the dz. Then I'd wake up Sat. morning and be disappointed when the weather was fine and the whole way to the dz I'd hope that something would happen (weather, plane trouble, my car would break down) so I wouldn't have to jump. Made absolutley no sense at all! Completely boggled the shit out of me. Part of me yearned to jump and the other part was completely against it. I think it's natural. Like they say, if you're not scared the first time then there's something wrong with you. All that stuff is pretty much resolved now. The only inner argument I have with myself now is "I can't afford to jump," vs "I can't afford NOT to jump!" Oh, and just to clarify... I had a lot of "ambivalence" on the way to the dz and before I'd jump, but once I got back in the air I was like, "that was awesome! Why in the world was I even remotely hesitant about doing this?!" All the conflict just melted away after the first new taste of flight.

I hear ya Pammi! I was gonna do a $20 heli jump this past New Years but then got a last minute gig in... San Diego! The opposite side of the country and no way to rush back in time. Gee, I'd think so long as the CHECK was signed they wouldn't really give a hoot. Might call you to check (notice they ask for your phone number) but money is money. Why not just call the IRS and ask? The night before my first jump (tandem) I kept getting butterflies and got that "omigod what am I thinking?!" feeling. But day of I was totally gung-ho and couldn't wait to get out the door. Then the jitters came back for AFF1... how could you not think that after hours of studying malfunctions and how to deal with them?! Fall in dove.
