Yes - but to guarantee a really deep and blissful sleep let's first expend some energy....
-
Why is that?! I just invited you out, you silly thing! Do you PLAN on hurting me? Bad, Chromie, BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!
-
Come out and play! I'm feelin' frisky! All this pent up energy! This dove's gotta fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Makes me giggle to think that someone named "Chromeboy" is in charge of others. Hehe! Boy, I am in so much trouble. I hope Chromeboy doesn't yell at me! Love ya Chromie! dove
-
Sweet! Thanks so much for sharing Lisa! That sounds awesome! dove
-
Hell ya! That's a party! Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
-
LMAO at iynx!!!! THAT is freakin' funny! Way to see the bright side! Chromie - stop answering your phone you buffoon!

Have never tried but am badly craving to jump the biplane, chopper and balloon. Otherwise.... any "SUPER" jump plane! "Are we there yet?!" dove
-
Thanks guys. Time to change that picture in my head. If it ever happens again I'll stick with what worked the first time. dove

Oh oh oh! Pick me! Pick me! I had a stand up landing that looked totally normal to everyone watching. Only thing NOT normal about it was I shattered and compressed my tibial plateau. Nice safe skydive and landing and I was out for 16 weeks. No matter how safe you are skydiving is still a risk. Don't apologize for asking questions.... it's the best way to learn! dove - the "healing machine"

Sweet! Take pictures Lisa! Puh-leeeeeeease!

Those bastards! Skydiving makes you happy and hence more productive (yeah - right!) Well, you ARE indeed lucky to have a job and income to pay for your jumps. Someday when a better offer comes along then you can go and make the bosses office smell like a plane on jump run! dove P.S. Monkey Claw rocks! Lucky you - that's awesome! Just think - at least you get to escape that world and really live life on the weekends. Your coworkers and bosses on the other hand..... poor things.

Actually, only cutaway I've ever had was a PC in tow. So maybe that's why it's on my mind. I always pack my own rig so I've had no problems since (cutaway was on rental stuff). I am glad I cutaway cause it came out of the container and the d-bag when the reserve came out. In retrospect I thought maybe I should have tried to yank the bridle (I did wack the rig with my elbow and try to shake it loose). In any event I landed on my feet under a good reserve so I am happy. Cheers! dove

Just a little bit of hail at altitude. Kinda refreshing actually! In January we had warm weather on the ground and a full-on snow storm at altitude. Neat! dove

Merrick's situation brings up a question for me as I've always pictured myself trying to manually extract the pin first too. It seems to have worked for Merrick. But now that I think of it... if you have a COLLAPSED PC in tow would it make any difference? If it doesn't present enough drag to extract the pin, wouldn't it also be too weak to get the bag off your back and the canopy out of the bag? Any first-hand experience would be especially helpful. Thanks! dove

Hehe - Florida summers are GREAT! Nothing like an afternoon shower to force you to eat lunch... not such a bad thing afterall! Speaking of hail.... It's been so hot I've been jumping sans jumpsuit - just in wee shorts and a tank top. Yesterday when we opened the door on jumprun we had a bit of hail fly in the door. It was quite the awakening experience for me.... I was first out. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! dove

I'll add him to my currenlty too-long list of prayers. dove

Two suggestions: I would first use a product they sell in the US called "Stain Devils." They make a different one for each type of stain (grass, blood, ink, etc) that are specially formulated to get out that specific stain. They work really well. If you can't find that... Sponge with 2 parts cold water and 1 part rubbing alcohol. Rinse. Launder. (From my domestic days pre-skydiving) Good luck!

Question for Bill and Quade: I'm just curious... when you refer to hook turns are you using the term synonymously with swooping or is there a clear difference to you? I am not asking to challenge you or anything... I ask because I am interested in swooping SAFELY. Thanks guys. dove

Actually Eric you are pretty much right on. I was married for just over a year when I discovered skydiving. I became a totally different person. More confident, more my own person. I even dress differently! I no longer want to fade away in the corner... I want to jump and laugh and play and live life to it's fullest. The girl my husband married was much quieter and more into making sure he was pleased than into making sure she was happy too. Add to all that wanting to spend all my spare time at the dz and it's the perfect recipe for divorce. And so it goes. I've never been so alive. dove

WEll, for starters it can add to happiness and you've been doing a lot of complaining about the lack of it in your relationship. Maybe you should seek counseling before getting married. Why the hurry?

Holy sh$%, boy! Glad you're still with us. But lucky Pammi.... for all you put her through (bet she was more scared than you!) you'll be kissing her ass for quite some time. Glad you guys are enjoying the new place - now quit scaring people and be safe! dove
-
Completely mind-boggling.

Note he said lineover on his RESERVE. If you don't carry a hook knife you'd be wishing you did...
