Thanks Sebazz! I will let everyone know how the first weekend goes. I know it will be amazing. I already always got teased for grinning the whole way up to altitude.... even on the 10th load of the day! So just imagine me on my first ride back..... super dooper beaming monkey grin.... from take off to landing!

No rush - that's why I said I won't go if I'm not ready. But I can jump off a picnic table (several times in a row - believe me, I KNOW!!!!! Neighbors think I'm nuts...) and I can run. I can squat 130 pounds and my legs look nice and curvy again. I'm ready!!!! I also have a friend who was so kind as to let me use a Spectre 135 for the first month or two or whatever.... just to give my sweet leg extra protection. Schwing! dove

Hmmmmmmm..... very tempting to jump this weekend. But Memorial Day was my original goal (though I was willing to give it up if not ready) and I figure an extra week of healing would be that much better. I really wanna go now.... but what's one more week when it's already been 15.5? Look out world - WATCH ME, I'M ABOUT TO FREAK THIS!!!! dove

Yes! You can definitely cash in your kisses here!!!!! I will be back in the air as soon as the bulls start running!!!!
-
to please. I just packed my rig for the first time in 15.5 weeks. Never thought I'd get such a big kick out of packing! Yippee! I am ecstatic! All that kneeling and I'm A-OK! Quick! Somebody kiss me! dove

Sorry - I don't have any good pics of it. Maybe in a few weeks.

Not that I know of. They are never advertise but always seem busy! I just told them what I wanted, drew up a pattern, we discussed it and they totally delivered. I love my suit! And you can't beat the price, quality or pleasure of working with these people!
-
Chromie - you saw my suit and liked it. I got it from Windline at Lake Wales. It's a Freakin' Suit. It was a great price (under $200 with all that custom sewing) and it was ready in a week. Call Lake Wales to get in touch with them.

Go Big or Go Home!!!!!! Good luck! dove

I wish that WAS the rule at my dz. In a word - disturbing.

Rumor has it there might be a possibility of a sweet white bird flying around there that day.
-
What a silly question.
-
Yup - really cooled off a lot here too.... Only in the upper 80's instead of upper 90's! Big fluffly cumulus clouds and barely a breeze today. dove

I grew up with this guy . He's amazing! He wants to do my helmet, but I am sort of a simple chick! He did a mask for a friend of mine though and did my brother's pilot helmet (he flew apaches in the Army). Cool stuff!

Mighty Mouse, you have brought on another giggling fit for the dove! There are feathers everywhere and I just vacuumed!

After tumbling 4000-5000 feet unconscious, I will never jump without an AAD. Shit DOES happen. lucky dove

I never have. I know some people do but I would guess the majority don't. In some countries it is expected and the cleaners are paid a low salary and really depend on tips (like waiters/waitresses) This would be a good question for Chromie since he works at a hotel. Do they expect tips or is it just a bonus when they get one?

Loved the video, book was okay. A little odd and sometimes hard to read. Brian Germain's Vertical Journey book and video are both excellent for learning to freefly. His video is the only one I've seen that shows how to do moves step-by-step instead of just video of kickass freeflyers doing the moves in real time. (Though I love watching that stuff too!)
