OUCH!!! Hope you feel better soon! If I can do 12 weeks (so far - and at least 4 more...) in beautiful St. Pete where it has been partly cloudy and beautiful practically every day since my injury you can make it too! Be good to your ankle and it will be good to you and you'll be flying again in no time. dove

I don't think most people would disagree with the fact that USPA is an incredible organisation that does a lot for us. And I am more than happy to pay membership for all the benefits it provides. I just think what happened to Ann sucks.. to go all the way out there with a current logbook, up-to-date equipment and a need for air and to not be able to get it.

Uh-oh! Boy did you ask for it! Some people have opinions about tube stoes as strong as their opinions about AADs and RSLs! Personally, I LOVE tube stoes. I have had nothing but beautiful openings and they don't chew up my dainty girl hands. (Hehehe - yeah, right!) And it is nice not to have to go hunting around for a new rubber band after every jump. Just make sure you use the proper locking stoes and not the smaller ones for locking. dove

Wow Donna! Your skydiving experience sounds even crazier than mine! I hope you and I have reached our quotas for accidents/injuries. How is your knee? Are you walking on it? Is July when your doctor said you could go back or is that a date you decided on? I know I seem really nosey but I am knee-obsessed right now. Hope all of us injured chicks have a good healing weekend! We can live vicariously through Wildblue who waited all of 10 seconds (long enough to eat a piece of purple cast cake) to ditch his cast and gear up for his first jump.
