  3. The TRV 19 22 33 mentioned above is a discontinued series but can still be bought on ebay. There's a 22 for $319 right now. I personally have one and love it. Perfect for our use. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  4. Thanks for the input and since I could pick up 2 SF-QRC off ebay for the price of 1 GM, I went with the better deal. Thanks y'all Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  5. JMPN4FN They wouldn't let me have AIRGASM for it's sexual reference, even when there is one on the DZ wall that had just expired. I quess it depends on who gets your file and what kinda mood they're in. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  6. Personally I can't afford digital atm so I'm forced to enjoy the great deals on non digital slr bodies right now. I finally got to replace my last Rebel that went splat and just got one off ebay for $79.95, and a Sigma 24mm-2.8 for $99 because it wouldn't work on the previous owners new digital Rebel. My last Rebel/Canon24mm-2.8 cost me about $400+. I'm quite the amatuer in stills anyways so this works out great for me. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  7. Thank you for your input Quade....I'd really like your input on my other post "The most choices" if you don't mind. I value your opinion. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  8. Now that GM has been out for a while I'm looking for more reviews then what the search is providing. Is GM worth $85 when I can get 2 Stroboframes for $90? Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  9. To all you veggieheads that don't cook....just an FYI for a pretty tasty option. Talk to your local SUBWAY manager or owner and request they start stocking the VeggiMax veggieburger or gardenburger It is an approved item they can carry if they have the call for it. I'm told by many of my customers that I seem to be the only locations(2) that have it in Arkansas. Even as a diehard meat eater I like it for a lite snack. It does have a heavy soy taste to it and reminds me of chinese food. It is not low fat tho...somethings got to hold the veggies together. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! 10. Thanks for the postive vibes Ray....and ohhhh yeah I had loads of fun. BD is the shit.
  11. In my own defense.....Yes it was borrowed gutter gear (Warp 3/Pegasus). It's put two other first timers off the same bridge in previous years. My hesi/snivel was caused from the pure and simple fact that I pitched WAAAAY to soon. I was watching the peeps ahead of me go head low so I was concentrating on nailing the exit. Which as soon as I did, I pitched, and as soon as I pitched, I thought OH SHIT that was to soon. What you don't see in the video is after it opened with a single line twist headed right for the rappellers, I managed to kick out of it and yank a rear riser to get turned back upstream in time to dodge a boulder and land in the middle of the eddy. I never even had time to unstow the brakes. Jump number two, I gave it the needed 3 sec delay and had a beautifal jump with only a 45 degree off heading opening and a dry landing. Excuse the highjack.... Now back to your regularly scheduled bullshit Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  12. I've come up with a plan for camera setup on my Illusion and I'm looking for opinions. Mount 2 quick realease next to each other on the top. The right one has my d-box with a trv22 and the the left one has a sharkfin mounted on it with my Rebel attached. This enables access to the remote plug and gives vertical format. Or switch them, remove the sharkfin and mount the camera direct to the quick release to still have access to the remote plug with a horizontal format. Or use just the video or just the still in either format. Whatcha think? Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  13. Bummer....Glad I asked....Thanks for the info.... Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  14. Would this lens work on a non digital rebel, or is it strictly for the digital series. It's so cheap it would make an ideal "knock around" lens for skydiving. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  15. Does anyone make a Z bracket to front mount a still on an Optik Illusion. I don't like nor want to side mount my video to top mount the still. I've seen the boxes to top mount both from Rimworld, but I'd rather have a plate between the top-mount d-box I already own, and the helmet, extending out-up-out Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! 16. What?!?!?! Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  17. The jumper did admit to three mistakes causing this cutaway but none had to do with the slider. He did a h&p load when he really didn't want to in the first place, exiting from 2400' due to the ceiling when he thought he was going to get at least 3000' and knew better but went anyway, then only gave 3 sec delay knowing he wasn't going to be terminal. All of that has nothing to do with.....he swears he unstowed his slider when packing and did not stow it after opening but when the main was recovered the slider was stowed. It's got us baffled Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  18. a double kill-line slider stowing itself (both lines) somewhere between closing the container and the main floating to the ground after a cutaway. It's a Xaos88 that opened subterminal with line twists after a 3 sec delay from 2400'. The jumper swears he unstowed it while packing. edited to make sense Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  19. Here's my Illusion Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  20. Good positive article in this month's Reader's Digest about a young man and his mother going to Pepperrell (sp?) for thier first jumps. That'll be good exposure. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  21. With a Sony .6 on a trv22 I can't get past half zoom without it going fuzzy. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  22. but.....using a firewire.....are you able to mix in audio?....With the rca jacks, I'm sending the audio to a mixer first to add in music, then to the dvd recorder. I suppose I could use the S-video for the video though to upgrade a bit. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  23. The washers are because the extra threads that went thru the nut were poking me in the forehead. I'm wanting to trim some of the excess post but haven't got to it yet. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  24. What costs is the sending of data thru the wireless network whether it be accessing the internet /w the phones browser (ie. shopping for ringtones and such), sending/receiving pics, text messages, emails and any of those info services like weather or sports that are sent to your phone. They (Cingular in my case) have per use charges unless you sign up for a data plan that starts at $19.99 for 5MB. I don't think it matters if the receiver of your pics is on the same network or not. I've sent some to my sister in law that uses Sprint. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
