i know lately we having been hearing a great deal about jumpers going in and without question this is very tragic, but with each death hopefully there is a lesson learned. what r your opinions on the causes of most skydiving fatalities? it seems to me that a lot of people perish under fully functional canopies.

it has been my experience being around experienced jumpers and being envious about how that seem so relaxed and somewhat unphased about jumping out of a perfectly good plane. at what point in a person's jumping career does someone get to the point of feeling comfortable and in total control of the jump or does it vary from person to person?

i personally did not know lee but i was at bridge day in 2000 and saw him pull off that rodeo. i thought it was one of the coolest moves of the day. who was the chick on his back? as far as his death goes it is a terrible tragedy which is inherant in the sport of base jumping. blue skies, lee!

r u a whuffo if the only thing you have ever done is a tandem? me personally i have three to my credit. there seems to be a lack of funds for me to pursue this sport like i would really like. out and out this shit can get as expensive as my harley davidson.

THE ONLY THING ANYONE WANTS TO DO AROUND HERE IS HUNT AND FISH, MAKES ME SICK-----THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE SKYDIVER IN THE AREA AND HE IS ONE COOL DUDE. i just completed my third tandem in april and i am truly addicted to freefall. would it be a good idea to progress to aff. im still concerned about altitude awareness and actually being able to do the necessary things to get my ass back on the ground safely. also, a big issue is the closest dz to my home is about 200 miles
